Actually, Coach Sanders is probably in a better position now to help JSU than if he were still there. His staff will encounter kids that are good enough to pay DIV1 Ball but a better fit at JSU than Colorado. People don't get that part. HBCU'S don't recruit out here (West Coast) and lots of quality players go to JuCos etc etc because all the Power5 schools Coast to Coast have who they wanted. There's a huge oversight, high school Football is big out here.

The sad thing is that 25 years ago I believed no such advice applied to me, since I was not a "baller" (and never would be). All through high school and college in the 90s I watched rich ballplayers get "caught" by women who didn't actually love them and I would laugh to myself. Yet, just a decade later (once I had my graduate degree and a good career) I too was "caught" in the very same way and I was totally unprepared because I wasn't rich or famous. Here's some free advice that is actually priceless (rare in this world): There are LEVELS of being "caught" by women who only see you as an opportunity; wealthy sports stars is only ONE of such levels. If you are the only truck driver making $80K in a town full of women working at Dollar Tree, YOU are a target no different than Tom Brady or LeBron James. This is true at the lowest level, and at every level in between up to and including the guy signing the $250M contract.

The thing about comments like this is that women say ALL men are easily manipulated and gullible, and yet it's majority women who you see crying about getting "used" or "manipulated." So one of two things is true. Either those women are not taking responsibility for choosing a bad partner and using that line as a cop-out. Or women generally are less smart than men when it comes to relationships. It's odd to me that a woman would state that the way that she did. She's really just telling on women. Why would a man, in a relationship with a woman, need to NOT be gullible. That implies that the woman he is with is lying and deceitful. If you can't let your guard down around a woman you are dating, who can you let your guard down with? That said, I find women overestimate their intelligence. Some guys know exactly what women are doing but just don't care because they have other women they are talking to and don't take any one of them seriously. Women always come with the insults after they find out they were just another girl.

When you don't give it your all, you don't get all that you worked for. Love is brutal. Love makes you strive. Love makes you feel pain. Love makes you work hard. Love beats you up.... Love something enough and that something will love you back enough. Sounds simple. But love is tough.

After being single for over a decade, and being in a “relationship” now, yeah love is tough and a headache. I see why a lot of guys prefer to be single.
