Thank you for this opportunity to knit something of yours for the first time, in a manageable to me pair of socks! They are definitely the craziest socks I've ever knitted. I was away for two weeks, but have gotten up to clue 4 on both the left and right pair, so they'll be done soon. I can get them on, but it's definitely a tighter fit, hopefully blocking will fix it.

I injured my right hand and had to stop knitting on this for nearly 2 months. I’m back to knitting Clue 4 and am eager to finish these scrummy socks! Thanks Stephen for a really fun knit! My favorite part was the slip stitch detail on the heel. These will be lots of fun to wear when the weather turns a bit chilly.

A perfect finish to this sock! I’m so excited to knit up Clue 4. This KAL was so much fun. The weekly sections were just the right amount of knitting to get done without feeling pressured. I made a mistake on Clue 2 that I didn’t notice until I started Clue 3 and realized it wasn’t lining up right. I ripped back both heels so that I could fix the mess I made and had the pleasure of reknitting the heels which might have been my favorite part! Thank you so much for your pattern, supporting videos, and all of your encouragement❤

Loving these socks. How about a hat to wear with them. That might use up the left over yarn nicely.

Yes, I was thinking we need a matching hat and mitts. (I weighed my leftover yarn and my completed socks and found that I had just a fraction more left over than I had used. So I'm planning on making a pair of inverted contrast blast socks with the left-overs. No idea when that will be, as the socks weren't part of my original knitting schedule and I've a stack of Christmas gifts to do and I actually want to make a knitting video.)

You're right about the designs being "great launch pads for more ideas". I tend to be a jumper and cardy knitter and all the stitches in these socks look like contenders for inclusion in those garments.

Thank you for the surprise sock along! This is one of my first west knits pattern (alongside the Quilting Triangles Shawl) but it will not be my last. I have thoroughly enjoyed it, still working on clue 3 and one sock at a time so I will be enjoying my second sock through August. I definitely want to take part in my first MKAL this year.
