The fourth clue for our MYSTERY QUILT!
We invite you to follow along and sew your own mystery quilt as we reveal a new clue each week, until finally, you have a beautiful new quilt!
Mystery quilts can sometimes make you try quilt blocks or patterns you wouldn't have tried because you thought they were too hard or would take too long. We break down a pattern into six clues- one each week for the six consecutive Fridays. This week is clue four. Start at any point, the links for the first three clues are below. You can shop your stash or come into our store to shop for new fabric. If you liked some of our fabric picks in our clue 1 video, give us a call at 641-585-2438 to place an order and we can send it to you. The Quilted Forest is located at 205 North Clark in Forest City, IA. Our phone number is 641-585-2438. We stock patterns, books, notions, batting, and fabric for sewing and quilting projects. Our shop is filled with finished quilts and smaller projects to provide plenty of inspiration. We are open Monday - Friday, 10am to 5pm, and 10am to 4pm on Saturday. We are in the central time zone.

Can you spin the seams or will it not work with the other pieces?

I am getting so frustrated for days now. I cut very accurately and am careful to make sure my seams are all 1/4" but every time the piece measures 4 1/4"! What am I doing wrong???

your instructions said to cut the squares 5 1/4, but for them to turn out to measure 4 1/2 they have to be cut 5 1/2. I wish I had figured it out before I cut all the fabric!
