Woodley might be the most underrated champion in UFC history. He hasn't lost since 2014 and he defended the title 4 times so far. He has had his character attacked by Dana White (His boss) repeatedly. They have tried to strip the title from him twice. Dana has even gone as far as hyping up his competition before fights and then getting visibly pissed off when Woodley prevails. It's not a good business dynamic. At first I thought Woodley was just whining about nothing but as time passed, I have seen the blatant bias against him. It became obvious before the Till fight that he wasn't supposed to win. But he did. The UFC inadvertently created a mega star out of Tyron Woodley by trying to engineer his downfall.

@AlxThSeal6 жыл бұрын
I'll just add that these fighters don't actually weigh what they're stated as on Wikipedia (the weight they're fighting at), but much more. They cut a lot of weight prior to the weigh ins, and then re-hydrate afterwards so they weigh 15-40lbs more during the actual fight. It's stupid and dangerous, but it is what it is. Until someone dies and they finally implement hydration tests to get rid of weight cutting. For example, Tyron Woodley fights at Welterweight (170lb), but really weighs 190+, and walks around at 200+ (outside of fight camp).

Fighters actually aim for either the thigh or calf muscles with those roundhouse kicks to the leg. There are some major nerves that run down the sides of the leg plus the force of the kicks just really fucks up your muscles. In the long run, which isn't necessarily that long, attacking the legs takes the opponent's speed and power away from them.
@This_Justin0016 жыл бұрын
Tyron Woodley is truly amazing. Not only is he a physical specimen but he is also very intelligent. Ever since he was KO'd by Nate Marquardt he became a different animal and has looked unbeatable. He finds a way to shut down all of his opponents and puts his hurt on them. Unfortunately he is not as popular as he should be but he is undeniable as a true champion. I think your next fighter should be Demetrious "Mighty Mouse" Johnson. He holds the current UFC record of 11 straight title defenses (although he recently lost a close split decision & moved to another promotion) he is potentially the GOAT. His speed and technique are truly amazing to watch. Thanks for another great video!

To your question about what a kick feels like when you're hit by a shin.... a wooden baseball bat feels pretty similar. As far as kicking a knee.... don't do it... that's a good way to break your own leg when you wrap it around the patella (kneecap). It's far more difficult to break than the fibula and tibia (the two bones in your lower leg). Anderson Silva broke his leg doing that a few years ago.

@Allure. You were asking about the leg kicks, don't know if you will see this or not but whatever lol. The optimal time to land the leg kick is when the other person has all their weight on that leg, which is so brutal and painful. For example right when they throw a kick and they have all the weight on 1 leg or even timing their footwork and kicking the lead leg as they transfer more of their weight onto it

As A former Martial Artist I know when you throw a low kick like that your trying to kick the leg that the opponent is anchored on so that his weight takes him straight to the ground. He also is kicking the opponent's leg at an angle that the knee can not bend in so it makes it that much more painful. You have to watch out because he can tear your ACL with one blow to the knee.

Cause once he kicked his leg, being a martial artist, most of your attacks is from footing, and upper body movements so when you think to strike or kick. By his stance availability, so once in thought and movement by the time of his kick, messed up anything from the knee down. From potienal energy and building energy, then looks like it can either be a spinning heel kick, or spinning back fist or a spinning elbow. Like I said earlier in the message, foot placing and stance. That was Carlos Condit I remember that fight to, brutal kick like your post tho to 🔥 keep it up👏. might have a good suggestion video to
