Its quite amusing that some people who hold an sia card think that it actually gives you some sort of power. I sat a three day course covering public events, cctv and door supervisor and learned very quickly that the badge just actually gives me a minimum wage job. Thats it.. so powerful 😅

Ken Livingstone did a video on this with issues at Canary Warf in London. Unfortunatly for security and police they where all far far to thick to understand he was integral to the rules and new them far better than they will ever understand the laws and how these companies policy all though enforcable in buildings to all and in publically accesable to employees was as much use as toilet roll that had been used by half a dozen people already. These companies though their solicitors do know the law and inetntionally ensure they abuse the law with illegal and unlawful policies. They need to be brought into court and sentenced in a court of law.

It wouldn't surprise me given how much time is wasted by people who have a cereal box knowledge of the law. Genuine organic scenarios/audits or capturing badly behaving police/security should be encouraged, but far too often it's about generating content for financial purposes by manufacturing conflict using inaccurate interpretation and understanding of the law. Those just looking to make money and waste people's time are going to damage the thing they claim to be trying to protect.
