One mistake in all the videos. The defenders are always built in equal lines to the full depth of the defense. As a result, the attackers, having a multiple number, bypass the flanks. (yes, it didn't help them this time, but that's one time) What prevents the defenders from being placed in radial lines: there are fewer on the shore, more deep into the defense - in the shape of a rainbow. It is advisable to rest the flanks against the shore or impassable obstacles. Then there will really be a head-on battle. Or come up with some tactics. It is more interesting to place troops on the battlefield. It doesn't matter to me how many millions of threads the author has set in the settings - I want to see a beautiful battle. Even if there are small armies there.

Also, notice no reloading or using the weapons as blunt force when engaged close combat and empty mag, on top of the fact that the preds were decloaked and not using energy weapons. The aliens, no acid blood so they couldn't just wash over and then as they die melt and kill more. A very base simulation.

I would also add that there needs to be change in the defender priority, why are tanks shooting behind them when there are so few attackers, they should all be focusing their attacks to the same focal point, or to the greatest area of attacker density.

It was hard telling their families of their demise.😔 Telling them how their beloved sons was ripped apart by the Predators right before my eyes and then what were left of them was immediately gobbled up by zombies. At first I was thankful all these people and creatures showed up, thinking they were going to help, but no, they got too busy with their battle, and so I went home. Could be cool to have statistics on each unit type in the end of video. Clusters wasn't bad, but I bet samurai guys took the most. I wish there could be more mods to clash against each other something like whole different empires & units from different universes, Like Mechwarrior Mechs, Terminator's T1000, WH40k Marines against Hogward's, Overwatch & twitch pool streamers.

There should be a friendly fire amendment added I feel. As that would add to the games evolution rather than detract. And a little auto strategy...as in AIs for both sides. As the flanks of the defending armies need reinforcement as they are always first to fall. Some strategical retreat would be an interesting amendment too I feel. Otherwise...the format is developing nicely. Can't wait to see what it evolves into in a few years.

With the rise of ai application we can probably get better and more creative ai to fight against soon. In the past, bot/ai will just dominate human through ungodly reaction speed and action per minute. However, balancing between fun and impossible to win is definitely hard to grasp. Maybe ai that will calculate the player battle/power level and automatically assign a suitable difficulty level will be game changing.

I was there when they attacked Proxima Centauri B. Tyranids came in pods and hit our shores. During that time, I was doing a tour on the God forsaken planet, as commander of the 21st battalion, 28th mechanized division, 187th planetary garrison army. As soon as we realized we were under siege, every radio frequency was flooded with frantic commands and reports. Soon enough we were losing ground, and I remembered seeing my comrades fall one by one, as they were slain by the foul beasts. Neither blades nor bullets had much effect on the monsters unless weak points were penetrated. Evacuation transport came and I retreated to the back lines with half of my battalion missing. We staged a final stand a few hours later, with orbital bombardment from the 44th dreadnought strike group providing support. The aftermath? Over 2 million casualties along with me returning to my wife and kids on Sol IV missing two fingers and my left ear. I'll never forget that day.

@@Steinbacker4001 You don't see it easily, but they have a small smoke looking explosion. And then a radius of enemies falls over, dead. Unlike the Cluster missiles, which fling a shower or corpses into the air. It's harder to see and so easy to miss, but if you pay attention you can see the circle of aliens just fall flat after the orange ball goes out.

Why are the defensive positions so close to the landing area? Why not have a mile or two of mine fields and hit the landing parties with missiles and artillery at a great distance? Why not make them pay at a distance? This seemed like the weakest possible defense one could mount, while ignoring the natural land contours and advantages. The artillery, missiles and tanks should have devastated the landing before it ever got to the infantry soldiers.

All the referneces to 40k and whatnot...this is essentially what people think it would be. A 155mm shell has a 50m lethal radius. There's cluster munitions. One Anti-personnel cluster bomb can drop 2000 sub-munitions over an area of hundreds of metres. There's anti-armour cluster munitions too for tougher xenos that'll drop hundreds of sub-munitions that can penetrate several inches of armour. Nevermind near-future guided cluster munitions/drones/bullets. High power lasers that just cut down anything in line of sight. These wave tactics would be annihilated rapidly.

I know it is just for fun, but the xenomorphs' acid blood would have ended so many more defenders' personnel and tanks, the Jedi would have cut each other to ribbons, friendly fire would have cut the defending force in half, and the samurai killed more enemies than all of the guns combined. If we're gonna lean into the nerd factor let's lean into the nerd factor.

Ultimate Epic Battle Simulator 2 has probably one of the most efficient Game Engine that efficiently utilizes the CPU, Memory, and GPU, GPU is the main part for sure but I remember back in the day when the first Ultimate Epic Battle Simulator was in BETA and it blew our minds with the onscreen population and they explained how creative they got with the resources available, I used to try and bring my system to a screeching halt 1 FPS and Error but they did it better than any game available, The Black Masses was their followup and was built on the same engine and was more of an actual FPS game and battle among thousands populating the screen at ground level, UEBS II was the next Level Up, Incredible to think what comes next and with the use of AI, There is no Limit

Or friendly fire, also the amount of lead being sprayed at the invading group should've caused that melee advance to completely recede from existence to the point where there wouldn't even be any melee combat. Certain concessions were made to keep this interesting. Samurai and jedi shouldn't even have been relevant. Also there were some questionable defense tactics where the defending army turned good defensive chokepoints into bad offensive deathtraps.

Imagine if they could account for the Aliens' Blood Melting all those tanks with their Molecular Acid Blood, This can be done by adding rules to terrain and enemies, I remember back in the early 2000s a little program called OE-Cake probably still available, it kid of a sandbox Simulator of Elements, Very Simplified but incredible, You could build a simple structure made from say wood, then you could add a spark or fire in a corner and watch how the structure would begin to burn and spread, now take the same structure and make it out of metal add the fire and nothing happens but add acid to the structure and you can see the metal structure begin to slowly dissolve only where you added the acid and nowhere else, add Lava to he Metal structure and you see it begin to melt, it was hour upon hours of fun, in-game destruction has been around for 15-20 years the next step of in-game evolution is this, it would add a whole new level of strategy in a game where you can use different elements to cause distruction in real time, Imagine going into a house and you know your enemy is upstairs, Set the Ground level and Stairs on Fire And Watch what happens, top floor collapses, lots of cool things are possivble
