had the same problem on my 2016 astra car was not under warranty still got it fixed for free! slave cylinder was leaking to the floor inside the car also master cylinder was replaced.

it may be the master cylinder. some time ago vauxhall sent letters to the customers that the cars from 2016 may have this problem with the clutch pedal collapsing

I tried two astras and both had the same problem. 100% design flaw. I was able to pull back by hand sometimes.

I had a 2017 asta k 1.4 This problem happened many times..and having an electric handbrake just didnt help. I sold it thank goodness...awful car terribe headlights,.as well. Ive had many astra F,G The. K model is the worst ive ever owned

Same same -and now the wife drives it and wants to throttle me each time it happens -cell call "Pull the pedal up and pump the clutch slowly to get the clutch pressure back"........." @#$!!$ car I am going to reverse over you with this thing when I get home!!"

Same happened to mine. Took it back to Opel dealer and they fixed it. It was still under warranty.

where is the slave clutch ?? I have a leak of dot 4 under the car but can't locate the leak . Same problem as the video

It can be a fault with clutch master cylinder

The same happend to my astra k.substituion of master cylinder and I had a leak on the clutch

Internal leakage in fluid damper. Other possibility is internal leakage in clutch cylinder (recall)

Thanks for responding. the mechanic thinks its the clutch master cylinder(very hard to get to), i will replace it Thursday... Hope it solves the problem

This is a Opel company recall. Repair free of charge.

They don't see it that way here in Morocco... ive checked ur other video on the timing chain, Same problem (mettalic sound at start up)...i need to get rid of this shitty car. Anyway thank you for the quick reply

Ive changed the clutch master cylinder but it wotked only for 24hr.i m taking it to opel detailer can u help me with something proving its a opel recall (articles on the web... Anything )

Auto is dealer onderhouden en heeft alle terugroepacties gehad. Is reeds verholpen. Betrof een interne lekkage in een vloeistofdemper.
