I like to say BAMF in most cases. Came from Battalion Aid Medical Facility we coined while in theater. But in this case one can insinuate what BAMF would mean in lieu of the aforementioned.

As a car painter I want to thank you for showing the previous Super secretive PDR technique. In the early days of PDR the guys would put up panels so we couldn’t see what it how they removed dents. Now guys like you make it possible to do it ourselves. Thanks again.

I think he can confidently show us as he know's just showing us how won't actually teach us how. Knowing where to put the tabs, which way to pull, how much to pull, etc...he's made it an art. Each of his vids that I watch I say, "no way he's gonna get this one" yet he still does.

Great job as always! I had a similar (but much larger) dent to repair, and while the dent had chipped paint off and I knew I'd be reshooting the quarter anyway, I used a bunch of your techniques to help. Unfortunately, my tabs would not stay put, but I was able to use a football, and inflate it from the inside to push out most of the dent before some skim and primer. By far, you have one of the most informative and helpful channels I'm subscribed to! I could sit and watch your content all day!

no offence to the guy, but theres a far better way to approach this one, understanding panel stress is key, youve got to relieve the stress in the panel first or you are just chasing....under the crown as tight as you can get to the right, pull toward the front of the car and get that crease out, the rest becomes way way easier....hes started on the top crease, i havent finished watch yet but the mess at that crease point is gonna take some time ,,,pulling where he is is just gonna, yep , stretching metal where it really didnt want to be........yep, state of it after the first pull, oilcanning....seriously thers a single video by an old metalworker on here....noone else have i seen doing the job right..its soooo simple and soooo much easier when you consider panel manufacture and stresses, i dont do pdr but i do weld bodies and if you dont understand stress you will cerainly add a few warps and dents.....

@@deadprivacy say what you will, but it sounds like a bunch of rubbish. This guy knows exactly what he's doing and does a fantastic job. Cars and customers don't care where you start, they care about the finish. Everytime this guy finishes his work, the body work is flawless.
@deadprivacy2 жыл бұрын
@@charliebaileyandloganberry7557 yeah, they do, watch the video, the metal cares very much whhere you start, the moment he pulls that upper ridge? hes dealing with oil canning becauues the stress in theis still in the metal, this method has been around a hundred years....the glue tabs simply replace welds or pins that were used in the past, samerpinciples apply, minium working of the metal, is also the minium time,,, but sheet metal is alwis sheet metal, you leave strees in the panel? you make yourself a ton of extra work and thing might be back in a week after a day in the sun.
