Clutch switch fast easy fix for fuel injected Suzuki

How did you wire the toggle switch to the clutch switch? Do I need to wire the rocker switch to the battery and the other ends to the switch?

I can accomplish the same result with just a piece of bare copper wire going from one connector end to the other . Just pull it out once the bike starts each time
