Here's a Seeburg Clutch. Many 1960s - 1980's Seeburg Jukebox Models use this Clutch. This non-technical video shows the clutch removed and I ramble about it. If you are a Seeburg expert, you will find this very rudimentary. However, if you are still learning how your Seeburg Jukebox works and have never held a clutch in your hands, then you might learn a thing or two about what the clutch does. I find it fascinating because it is totally Mechanical with shafts, gears, cams and cogs whereas everything today is a computer chip and a flash drive.
In retrospect, I should have reviewed Seeburg manuals before filming to ensure using the correct terminology. This was a spur of the moment video without editing. If you make a better Seeburg clutch video please leave a comment so people can find it. One clutch video is by "FourtyFivePlayer" and it was helpful to me - especially the E clip.
Words of caution. Don't as a novice just start taking things apart on a Seeburg or you will not get it back together (working). I have torn this Mechanism down to this point because I cannot get it to work and as of this video, this mech has a problem that I don't understand. There are some tricks to removing and more importantly reinstalling the clutch which you need to understand before grabbing a screwdriver. If you ever remove the record rack like this one, I strongly suggest you mark exactly where it was so it goes back in the exact same footprint. Be very careful about what you remove and take digital pics of everything including wiring, screws, etc so you know how to put it back together.
