For anyone wondering about these clutches, I’ve just put one in my 370GT making 745nm of torque and it’s amazing, the pedal feel is exactly as they describe. There is a very tiny bit of twin plate rattle you hear every so often. And it’s holding the torque great so far

As an N54 owner, I was very intrigued by this clutch a while back. At some point they had no longer offered the kit for my vehicle, but recently I have found out they are now offering it once again. They only offer the track version at the moment so I was skeptical at first, especially about the noise and the pedal feel. I shot them an email and they got back to me right away answering all my questions in full detail, so I am already happy about the support, and now seeing your video of the Track Kit ON a "BMW" has given me the full confidence I need to go ahead and pull the trigger. I do have a small request, if I just haven't come across it yet, but what changes would we possibly see with their flywheel kit or even an aftermarket Single Mass. I am only curious due to understanding that at SOME point the Dual mass may have to be changed because it does have springs of their own to dampen some sound and vibration, but if the noise or vibration is minimal enough, would it be worth it to buy a lightweight SMF that will never need to be changed? Thank you for this video! Can't wait to binge everything you've posted.

1265 for the track for my fg xr6t ,that's really a good price for a 2000nm rated clutch ,normally you'd pay over 2k+ for a clutch that serious. The 2 lower spec ones won't even cut it behind any barra pushing 500whp+ , I'm at 480whp and 775nms atw currently ,that gotta be close to 950/1000nms at the flywheel easy so my only option is the track and being I'll be mainly hitting the strip, that's gonna be savage for any clutch to deal with. My only concern is that input shaft/spline piece sheering or eating itself, like spinning on itself. Yes the flywheel takes the brunt as does the clutch surface but that doesn't necessarily mean that spline piece won't still break. I'm going to ask around to see how other barra owners fare with the uniclutch before proceeding, I mean my stock clutch is holding fine atm and it looked in good condition when it was out back in November during the engine rebuild ,figure I might get another yr or 2 out of it yet so got time lol.

@SupraSav9 ай бұрын
Never driven the M3 but according to reviews the Supra manual gearbox feels better. There's a couple channels like EverydayDriver and Hagerty(Jason Cammisa) that touch on that and compare M2 and Supra.
@chrisginoc7 ай бұрын
I have the same exact MKV Supra in this video and no it is not sloppy. The best manual I have ever owned and I grew up only driving manuals. Toyota added their own weight to the shifter that is unlike the G80 M3 or G87 M2. Not saying those cars are terrible, but the shifter feels way better and gears are smoother in and out of the MKV than other BMWs you mentioned.

Can you drift with a uni-clutch? With clutch kicks and abuse as the flywheel dowels and bolts will now be the weak points instead of the disc coming in contact with the oem flywheel using that as a weak point????
