“I am in control of my life” “I am the hero of my life” “I trust myself to make decisions” “My happiness is more important than anything in my home!” I am going to make stickers out of the powerful phrases!❤ ❤ I love these empowering videos!! I need to make a playlist of these videos. But I am saving this one! ❤ When we’ve made poor decisions to get us into this mess…. yes is is hard to trust oneself! My mother-n-law died back in 2013. I bagged up ALL her belongings that she had everywhere in the house, and I piled the bags up at one end of my closet. For the last 2 weeks I have been pulling her stuff out of my space because I mostly don't want it. I wanted my closet all to myself. In the process of clearing out her clutter, I found out that my husband and I have 24 different types of luggage. OMG... Really!!! Who needs a suitcase?

Small load of laundry to wash and hang. And so it goes. Thanks for your motivation, Cas, and I’m so glad you like Tony Robbins, too! Ah, Cas, you are such a blessing to those of us who listen to you. Seeing the picture you posted for this podcast brought me such joy, even before I listened to it, that I saved it as the lock screen on my phone. I need that tough love. I also need that someone to tell me I am awesome. Even at 56 years old I struggle with that self-love and self-trust portion of things, although I am getting better at the self-trust as I exercise my decluttering muscle. Trying to declutter two houses right now in order to sell: my old one (deadline midAugust) and my mother's (deadline Sept. 2) as she has decided to move to senior living. I am exhausted, but getting up and doing it every day. This podcast was exactly what I needed to hear and see yesterday. I wish KZbin videos and podcasts came with stars, because you would get 5 out of 5. I thank God for putting you in my path.

I remember when I first started my decluttering journey, I saw one of your videos that said to start with useless cardboard boxes. I didn’t realize until I went though all my boxes that I literally had 7 vacuum cleaner boxes that I had for the last 2 decades saved up. What did I plan to do, return one of the 6 vacuums I not longer had? Crazy. After getting rid of useless boxes alone I managed to clear up so much space. Now I keep the boxes for absolutely nothing , unless it’s for something expensive like a computer monitor that I’ll keep for a month max in case it breaks and needs to be returned. My spare rooms went from looking like an episode of Hoarders to looking like normal rooms with that one top alone. I feel like I’m literally clutter blind and until I hear people like you state the obvious, I don’t see it.
