Pet the gatorade bottle thing. Heres how you make and market it. You make a on the go water bottle with a cutout for a phone to sit in. Use the word Insta or Xtreme or whatever but market it to kids that are into making clips on the go for tiktok or instagram or whatever so they can get their hydration and carry less gear with them cuz they drink out of their phone tripod basically. MILLION DOLLAR IDEA.

I’m gonna say the internet broke the skate industry. No more waiting 6 months a year for a new video waiting every week for the Catolog or new thrasher to come in the mail. Also lack of demos and team vibe honestly. Also skating these days have advanced so far because of the internet kids are just robotic no style. Videos don’t even have lines in them most of the time. If they do it’s far in between. Tooo many board graphics. Don’t help sales either. My list could go on for days lol.

❤❤guys I love this conversation. Because we do need to talk about how important the skateshop : skateboarding company ratios are. I work at a skateshop. And when we have to pay up to 50 dollars a board, how are we supposed to even that out and add profit? This slowly rising cost, that's been occurring for a few decades, is forcing the skateshops to host cheaper shop boards not only for the shop to succeed, but for the people to be able to afford it. Plus it's like a college sports team in that people have pride in their hometown. It's not to take away from the pros but to help afford to carry more of their boards.

As a small shop owner I cant carry many decks from companies like Girl, Primitive and DGK. I love those brands but it just doesn't make sense to my customers when they can get them online for much cheaper. It's definitely hurting the shop so I just don't fuk wit them brands. They're kind played out anyway.
