It's also 20years ago... Id imagine that even if WWE gave Punk everything he wanted and more 20yrs of slamming your body off the ground and traveling 300days a year would do a number on someones body. But you were just gonna find a way to bash WWE no matter what huh. Punk was pushed as a world champion for like 4-5yrs before he quit. Worked every big name in the business, lived his dream to be the top champ in the top company, got to live out his dream being in the ring with Piper multiple times. He met his wife & made life long friends while paying him millions giving him the exposure that gave him the opportunity to live out another dream of being in the UFC, and without his time in WWE would he command the money in AEW now? Nope..... WWE Did more for CMPunk than 90% of the people who ever got into the wrestling business. He really needs to get past his issues with WWE & really stop and understand what he achieved there and not look back at his career with such a sour taste. The only complaint he has is that he didnt go on last at a WrestleMania. Well fuck, less than 40 different wrestlers can make the claim that they closed one of the 39 WrestleMania Cards, nevermind how few can say they won the main event Piper Orndorff Mr T Hogan Bundy Andre Savage Dibiase Warrior Slaughter Flair Yoko Bret Bam Bam LT HBK Taker Austin Rock HHH Foley Big Show Jericho Lesnar Angle Benoit Cena Edge Orton Miz Batista Daniel Bryan Reigns Rollins Ronda Becky, Charlotte, Kevin Owens, Cody Night 1's of 2 night Manias don't count in my book, but if they did then you'd add in The Uso's Sami Zayn, Bianca Bel Air AJ Styles Does he belong in that mix? Absolutely. Is it a career travesty? Idk.. hard to believe he wouldn't ended a mania if he stayed.

@@moriordan85 Fake title reigns don't mean anything if the storylines aren't good. Go back and watch his 434-day reign; it was pretty weak, and he wasn't treated like the top guy. Like, they had Cena vs. Laurinaitis as the main event over him vs. Bryan. And if you remember, Punk was literally the reason Laurinaitis became an on-screen character too, and for weeks they had Punk and Laurinaitis going at it, and the crowd was into it, but then one week they were no longer feuding, and it was now Cena's feud.

Piper was my guy too. Dont get me wrong. I was a Hulkamaniac too. But at school - arguing with the kids in the 1980s... I always picked Piper because no one else would. 10 kids would stand around & 7 would argue Hulk was the best ever. 1 would say Flair. Maybe another would respect that. Then someone else would chip in a random wrestler like Andre or Lex or Sting. Then I was the guy reppin Piper. To hear MJF today mention him & how thats come down from so long ago... It really warms my heart. I love MJF. I never saw CM Punk except for his AEW run. I hated WWE & quit watching in 2006. But I did become a Punk fan when he beat up the Bucks & Kenny backstage. AEW is broken & Punk & MJF are the only people (besides FTR) who can fix it. I hope the EVPs realize they are a niche product & we as fans need to push thr Collision show higher than the others to show them who the boss is!

The Scorpions are a legendary rock band that has captured the hearts of millions with their anthemic songs and electrifying performances. Hailing from Germany, this iconic group has been a driving force in the world of rock music for over five decades. With their signature blend of melodic hard rock and power ballads, the Scorpions have solidified their place as one of the most successful and enduring bands in the history of rock. Formed in 1965 in Hanover, Germany, the Scorpions initially began as a beat and rhythm and blues band. However, it was in the 1970s when they embraced a heavier sound and began to explore the realms of hard rock and heavy metal. The band's classic lineup consists of Rudolf Schenker on rhythm guitar, Klaus Meine on vocals, Matthias Jabs on lead guitar, Francis Buchholz on bass, and Herman Rarebell on drums. In 1972, the Scorpions released their debut album, "Lonesome Crow," which showcased their early psychedelic and progressive rock influences. Although the album received positive reviews, it wasn't until their follow-up releases that the band truly found their musical direction. Albums like "Fly to the Rainbow" (1974) and "In Trance" (1975) showcased their evolving sound and solidified their status as one of Germany's premier rock acts. The 1970s marked a transformative era for rock music, with countless bands emerging and leaving a lasting impact on the genre. Among them, the Scorpions stood tall as pioneers of hard rock and heavy metal, carving their path to success with an electrifying sound and the unparalleled talent of lead guitarist Uli Jon Roth. It was the release of "Virgin Killer" in 1976 that marked a turning point for the Scorpions. The album featured a heavier and more aggressive sound, driven by powerful riffs and Klaus Meine's distinctive vocals. However, it was the controversial album cover, featuring a young girl, that sparked controversy and led to the album being banned in some countries. Despite the controversy, "Virgin Killer" established the band as a force to be reckoned with in the rock music scene. The Scorpions reached new heights of international success with their ninth studio album, "Blackout," released in 1982. The album spawned the hit singles "No One Like You" and "Blackout," which showcased the band's ability to write catchy, melodic hard rock anthems. "Blackout" propelled the Scorpions to global stardom and laid the foundation for their future success. In 1984, the Scorpions released what would become one of their most iconic and commercially successful album, "Love at First Sting." which included hits like "Rock You Like a Hurricane" and "Still Loving You," further cementing the Scorpions' status as one of the greatest rock bands of all time. In 1988 they released one of their finest works “Savage Amusement” album, which met positive reviews. And in 1990 they released one of the greatest albums in Rock history “Crazy World”. The album featured the chart-topping power ballad "Wind of Change," which became an anthem of hope and freedom during the era of political change in Eastern Europe. Throughout their career, the Scorpions have maintained a remarkable consistency in delivering powerful and memorable performances. Their live shows are known for their energy, musicianship, and the undeniable chemistry between the band members. Songs like "Big City Nights," "The Zoo," “Coast to Coast,” and "Holiday" have become staples of their live repertoire, captivating audiences around the world. Despite the passing of time, the Scorpions continue to create and perform music that resonates with fans old and new. Their 2010 album, "Sting in the Tail," was announced as their final studio album, marking the end of their illustrious career. However, the band's love for music and their loyal fan base led them to reconsider, and they continued to tour and release new material. And in 2022 they released their newest album “Rock Believer” after 7 years since their album “Return to forever”. Hope to hear more from them in 2023 and afterwards.
