I agree 100% with Booker on not getting too close to the boss. Yes, that's how it's supposed to be. You're there to do a job, not to be best friends with the guy that signs the checks so that way when you need someone to check your ass the boss can do it and nobody takes it personally.

All of this falls on Tony's shoulders because he let this go on right in front of his face, not once, but more than twice, so what did he think was going to happen when someone like CM Punk who has alot of baggage to begin with is allowed to run rough shot over the entire locker room because he knows his boss can't run a wrestling promotion without his friends acting as his enforcers who are wrestlers themselves. Blame Punk, blame the bucks, and blame Omega and the legal teams all you want because I'm placing blame on Tony's shoulders because again, he's a wimp and if he can't keep his troops in line, he might as well throw himself on the firing line and let AEW go the way WCW ended up doing.

Before Punk did the All Out press scrum, Hangman did a promo on tv going in to business for himself and there were rumours that Punk got Colt Cabana fired when he was the top babyface. Tony didn't punish Hangman, didnt address the rumours, and the Young Bucks came back before Punk when they went to his locker room with a bunch of other guys after Punk invited them to fight if they had an issue at the press scrum. Now Jack Perry did the same thing with the glass spot AFTER AEW employees asked Punk to talk to Perry about it. Tony again did nothing, I dont blame him for taking things into his own hands. These ignorant kids do whatever they want, dont listen to the veterans and the boss isn't doing a damn thing. Maybe Punk had a short fuse but he was passionate about making that company better and the wrestlers. Real glass can kill someone, Perry's an idiot and you dont start rumours about your top guy- I'm sure if someone did that to Taker, that guy would get his ass beat. Boycott AEW 🎉❤

Exactly. If Tony Khan had addressed Adam Page and dealt with him swiftly, CM Punk wouldn't have had to deal with the situation himself. Vince McMahon would have dealt with Page. Then when Markboy Tony Khan decides to put on his big boy pants he fires his top draw. AEW is a mess. I will boycott anything AEW from now on. And it pains me to say that.

I can’t agree with Booker T, no acknowledgement of the things done to CM Punk to make him react the way he did. CM Punk has not talked about Colt Cabana until the scrum, The youngbucks bs and running to meltzer. Adam Page goes into business for himself FIRST! He reacts and he’s unprofessional. That’s wild. When you’re grown man amongst children it ain’t gonna work. Tony Khan allowed this to happen. Punk taking a shot at WWE. ThIs is wrestling! For Booker T being apart of the Monday night wars it’s a cop out to say Punk should have done that. Like Booker didn’t have a nonchalant attitude in his TNA run. Please stop the biased reporting. Love Booker T but if you gonna talk about it, talk about it all.

Because all the things done to CM Punk to make him react that way, don't matter.... Punk can not like who and whatever he wants, but if he's now multiple times physically assaulting his coworkers, he's done. How he feels doesn't matter, how he's justified his actions in his head, doesn't matter.

@@justmarcus33 so if someone does something to you, and you respond to it. Your wrong. Lol oh ok…. As a locker room leader yes he should have kept his cool and maybe showed more restraint however you can take so much before you’ve had enough. Again Jack perry goes into business for himself and shoots on tv and punk is supposed to do nothing. We already know Tony Khan punk ass ain’t going to address it. The media scrum, punk says anyone who has a problem can come see me. Punk’s fault 100 for in-sighting a fight but where is the accountable for the E.V.P’s who came to that man’s locker room and actually started the fight and got their asses whooped. As a member of the office you to your point should have taken the higher road but didn’t! Again if your gonna apply it to one, apply it to all

I don't even think it's that. It's because NOBODY fears Tony Khan. Say what you will about how Vince runs things. But he commanded respect and everyone was terrified of crossing him because your career is practically in his hands. There's plenty of blame to go around. A good chunk of it goes to Punk for just not knowing how to deal with conflicts. But the majority of it goes to Tony Khan for not getting a handle on this asap.

The thing that gets to me is people aren’t looking at the situation as a whole and solely blaming punk for this while not addressing the main issue. AEW is suffering due to locker room discord. You’re getting the whole clique toxicity. I can understand punk getting frustrated at having groups of people coming at him with seemingly no intervention by the bosses to nip it in the bud. AEW is pulling what WCW did back in the day which is a major factor that doomed them by letting the inmates run the show. One thing booker brought up that I agree on was bringing up the locker room court. Getting a leader in that locker room that has no biases that can root out these dissensions and issues is what is needed.

Don't be so one side guys. I know that you are completely biased against Punk but consider both sides. Some other facts: poor management...Tony is soft. Talent should not be evp's. Hangman went into business for himself and started shooting on Punk over a year ago. Jungle boy went off script not to get heat but to stir up Punk. The elite followed up on the media scrum knocked on Punk door knowing that there would trouble. I know that Punk takes majority of the blame, but others do as well. There are always more sides to the story, don't be so biased. Just a side note, Punk said Colt shares an account with his mother. That's not a knock on the mother...you painted it out to look like he slandered her. C'mon give the whole story.

And then to talk about wrestlers court being needed... a old school wrestler who would be judge would be on punks side. Respect the vets. Old school. Who are the bucks anyway? What have they ever done? Perry was jurking the curtain that night!!! Talking to a vet like that. Shame! The cuc cohost on this show is the worst side kick in pid cast history.

Love Booker but it seems like the Elite & others (Jericho, Hardy’s, Cabana) in the locker room didn’t want Punk there from the get go. They leaked negative stories to the press and it obviously got inside his head and Punk couldn’t handle it. A lot of things stem from Tony Khan’s poor management and his lack of leadership. If he had resolved the issues, there was serious money to be made.
