Anyone who doesn’t remember how badly Jim got crucified and called old and out of touch when he called out every single match having the same diving spot with a group of guys ready to catch them hasn’t been paying attention. Both Adam page and Jack Perry have shit talked billy Gunn and called billy Gunn old and out of touch. Jim Ross and mark Henry still defend punk to this day for a REASON. and now we have edge already having back stage heat in AEW for calling Ricky stars a vanilla midget rock ripoff because Ricky took shots at edge off script. It took edge two weeks to already have heat there? How you can still blame punk is just delusional.

Its funny, there have been several of the older wrestlers talking about how the younger guys didnt want to learn from the old guys and any advice was being ignored. TK has the experience there with Malenko, Arn, Tully, Dustin, etc, but TK has also tried harder to be liked than running the business. The fact that the issue with Punk and Jack Perry was over using real glass after Punk was asked to talk to him about it by the staff is not being talked about much. I am curious to see if and when Jack Perry returns. Perry should have been fired equally as fast. From all reports, it sounded like that was the stupidity driving Punk to his breaking point. I have a feeling in a few years, there will be a very interesting behind the scenes story told.
