Punk reminds us dreams don't come true just wanting something isn't enough and you can't skip the years of hard work, practice and achieve everything with guts, self belief , and expect to have a chance against those that did... A "realistic" underdog story for sure... (quite ironic he proved the exact opposite of his little speech.)

It's not an underdog story Cm punk was just cocky
@carlosk81032 жыл бұрын
@@abdellah7879 He was an underdog because an underdog is just someone that everyone expects will lose and thinks has no chance of winning..... Hence I call him a "Realistic underdog".... but yeah he was also cocky too... Rogan: "good luck sir" Cm Punk: "Luck is for losers Joe!"

No, Gall was a UFC fighter, this is the reason punk should have started in smaller companies, to gather experience : even the beast Lesnar did that, and we are talking about a man who had ncaa wrestling level, and was UFC champion , so how TF you think punk could have simply walked in the highest level MMA company with ZERO real fights under his belt and only 2 years training , against a guy half his age, who trained for MMA since he was a kid and had already won several fights. So no, Gall was no "really tough fighter, he was average level for UFC, he was no Jon Jones or Mc Gregor. But 500K plus ego made punk believe he could step in the highest level MMA company just like that, with almost any blood sweat and tears.
