Modern fans really have no clue how good BJ was and how good Nick was. Two absolute legends. BJ fought anyone didn’t matter the weight and if he was motivated in shape he was extremely hard to handle. Good striking and his ground game was unbelievable. Nick was a cardio machine with unbelievable pressure and was always pressing talking to you and also crazy ground game. Also a guy who would fight anyone at 70&85. BJ was a natural 155 but was forced to fight at 70 and even fought Machida when he was at light heavy.
@Gematrinator2 жыл бұрын
For that time? Sure. Nowadays anyone in the top 10 would beat either prime or not, the games just evolved alot.

@@Gematrinator you have no clue what you’re talking about at all. I’m assuming you’re under 30 if so you’re opinion is totally irrelevant and dumb. These guys today aren’t even that good. GSP was from that same era and he’d dominate today if he was that same age. Stop you sound goofy as hell
@J1283-s1k2 жыл бұрын
@@Gematrinator Yeah, but people always, always seem to forget: Nick and BJ and whoever else, would have the same knowledge, the same techniques and approaches, that have come about since their time. He was almost crying because he and Penn were friends (before the fight). He didn't want to fight Bj Penn because they were friends and stuff. But bj penn, besides signing the contract first, still invented lies and talked shit about him, so he agreed to fight. so much so that when the fight ended and he went after the trainer and the camera he kept saying ''I didn't want this shit''. In addition to the fact that the UFC tried to paint an image that was not Nick Diaz, they tried to paint the guy as a bully since he was a guy who liked to fight and had several internal problems linked to depression (due to the death of his ex-girlfriend)

@@floatinggoose9197 they may have been conspired against..a lot of weird things happen when those 2 guys are involved.
