@@cmattdabrat if you are intersted in a louder/ cooler sounding bov insert, I have designed a couple that I modeled up in cad and made for my ssqv. they blow the ones hks offers out of the water. One sounds like an eagle screech at low boost/ shifts, the other is just a louder whoosh with a high pitched screech. They fit in just like the factory insert.

Matthew Chevalier well to start I want to add a turbo a good turbo to reach that 350whp + and a turbo with low lag and of course I’ve been trying to research wath good fuel injectors would be good after that turbo upgrade and I reallly want a good intercooler and I was looking zzp intercoolers but they out of stock for the Chevy Cruze model so I’m kinda bummed out since I heard so many good things about them and then I do want to put a k&n air intake and change the exhaust system with a performance based header that can allow good flow but after all the turbo and and intercooler and fuel injectors and lastly the time
@cmattdabrat4 жыл бұрын
@@robertomendoza5576 I'm swapping to a set of #133 1400cc injectors. Semens Deka makes great sets that drop right in for around 175-$200. BorgWarner makes some nice turbos. You might want to consider a dual scroll, or maybe even a sequential setup. To get to 350+whp you'll need a pretty good sized turbo, but the larger you go, without some sort of trick setup, there will be some lag. I'm ditching the air to Air Intercooler idea because there will be way too long of a charge pipe routing for me cause my intake / throttle body is on the other side. So I'm getting a $300 water to Air Intercooler setup good for 600hp, and will pretty much be a straight shot from the turbo to the throttle body. There's enough space in front of our radiators for a large radiator to cool the water to air setup. I'll have one in my possession in the near future and will give a run down of how it'll work.

We'll get it all sorted out. GM puts their MAF sensors before the turbo. I just didn't have a long enough path for the air to really straighten out to get an accurate reading.

haha those c clamps are the worst on those HKS style BOV's... I prefer the weld on deal since it works with others too. I changed mine up originally to a 360* shatter valve style. sounded more like an air brake let off next to you.
