It’s really beautiful and so unique. You are lucky that it has the leather corners and metal feet. I have seen several horror stories about the Goyard canvas tote developing holes in the corners very quickly, which isn’t good considering the price of them. But yours should do a lot better. I have never had a bag with metal feet that has developed any corner wear.

Yes i totally agree with you re the value of the leather corner protection. It's great that you have never encountered corner wear when using bags with bottom studs - i've been eyeing preloved birkins/kellys (have been adding some to my collection which i will feature in the months ahead) and sadly have noticed that they still tend to have (minor) corner scuffs despite being elevated off the ground. Personally i have never damaged my bag that way though so hopefully it doesn't happen to us! I will be looking forward to hearing about your experience with the repair. I have an LV bag that needs a small repair and I was hoping to do it this year but lockdown put an end to that. I was thinking of taking it to Royal Bag Spa but I wasn’t allowed to go into Melbourne for most of the year. I have been thinking for a long time that the only way I could get a Kelly is to buy a vintage one that has seen better days and have it refurbished so I am always interested to get advice from others about this. I hope you have a wonderful new year and that the Sydney cluster goes away quickly.

Sorry i believe you asked me this years ago and i never got to it! (you wouldn't believe the size of my KZbin to-do list...) Are you changing cars due to your growing family or another lifestyle change? We ultimately chose the Porsche Macan S because we loved the driving experience and the sleek design, especially with the extras - plus my family has been driving Porsche for over a decade so it felt like a brand we trusted. Sadly, their service these days is rubbish, their tech is far behind other luxury brands and the back seat is smaller than other luxury 4wds of the same size so those are the cons. We still love the car but it's not perfect. Is that helpful at all?

I just switched to a new set of kitchen scales for this video and somehow it must have calibrated strangely because the weight result is not right. I just tested it again (and compared the weight of my Kelly 28 with measurements taken successfully in other recent videos to verify) that the Goyard Saigon PM is actually 640grams. It is still the lightest with Delvaux Brillant measuring 660grams and Kelly 28 epsom measuring 800grams but i have removed that part of the video to avoid future confusion. Re sandals, no i don't believe they would fit. Foldable ballet flats/flip flops would be fine though. I am taking a break from YT as my baby is arriving this month. @@cmk7585 thank you hoppy Easter to you as well. Because of your video I actually went ahead a bought a preloved goyard croisiere 35 and so far really like it, for me it feels fresh and unique. I would like to say carefree but it’s def not. I have to watch it doesn’t get knicked and banged up. Can’t wait for your next video I just got a vintage Kelly from 1995 retourne box and I took it to Hermès for a spa and can’t wait to get it back. I also received a Kelly 35 in clemence and the leather is so soft and supple but it has absolutely no shape. I’ve had a Birkin 40 in clemence and it still kept its shape, but this one just folds over on itself unless there’s an organizer inside. Still debating whether to keep it. Do you think once a Kelly or Birkin loses its shape, it also loses its value? I asked a Facebook group and most Hermès lovers said they love the relaxed look, but I’m more concerned of what it will look like on the sales market if I ever want to resell it :-/

Hey Miss Supreme, in my personal experience browsing preloved luxury, i personally find that some of the listings which have a harder time selling are the ones where the bag structure has collapsed. Unless your K35 is going for a bargain listing price, most prospective sellers will likely prefer to pay more for a bag in better condition. Have you tried contacting luxury bag repairers to see whether they can work some magic for you? I recently reviewed my experience with Leather Surgeons from USA and they have performed some miracles on Birkins. Hermes fans always say there's nothing wrong with the natural aging of the bag (especially in clemence leather) and that signature slouch, but that doesn't mean they themselves will pay significant $$$ to add a worn looking Kelly to their own collection. So i believe you should follow your gut instinct

@@cmk7585 I actually ended up returning it to vestiare because the loss of shape was worrying to me. So sad because the togo leather was still perfect and it was noir phw which is my dream combo for a Kelly. I think it was stored flat for a long time which caused the leather to lose its shape. Just wasn’t meant to be, I’m sure something else will come around :) I still have my box Kelly 35 at the Hermès spa but it’s in gold hardware and I don’t know why I can’t get into ghw. My SA alsos trying to get my the Constance slim wallet belt bag in craie with shw 🤞🏽
