Grateful for your patience :) Re the storage display cases, it's an American product called 'Luxury Bag Display' - i reviewed their product here re breathability etc and there's a code for 10% off: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rmbXm2qqo9Ssf6s. In regards to bag care, i have an extensive video (kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZojXq2VqrcSgY5I) but the short answer is that i stuff all my handbags, keep them in breathable cotton dust bags, stand them upright with spacing between each other for air flow. Note all my bags are structured so standing is preferred - if your bags are soft and slouchy, it makes sense to lie them flat. Lighting and moisture control are also important which are covered in my youtube review if you need it

Love the customized Hermes Constance wallet on a strap. It is so good to have a good cobbler who you can trust with your bags. IMO, it doesn't matter if belt bags are in or not. That shape/style is very classic and slim so I believe you will always be able to use it. Perfect for event or travel when you need to access your ID/cash and be hands free. There is always pouches/wallets on belts regardless of the status of fanny packs so I see it that way vs. the traditional sport fanny bag shape. I have a few belt bags that fit more than your Hermes but I am feeling that I may sell (Gucci/Senreve). I would however consider having more of a wallet on belt style shape like yours Lovely collection, happy you popped up in my suggested.

Grateful for your patience :) Re Chanel repairs, the boutique aftersales is essentially useless so i either go to Ultimate Cobbler in Crows Nest for leather work (after this video they repaired the stitch on my Chanel backpack for only $35 handstitched!) or i mail my bags to Leather Surgeons in the USA for hardware replating - i have already approved their quote but will wait until American lockdowns ease as currently it affects their workshop/causes delays. Hope that all makes sense!

I love my alma bb, but I discovered it is not water resistant tho 😭🤯 everyone says that but I got some water damage on the leather. Due to the color it is not very visable but it is not in fact waterproof… great video!! Xx

lol @ the Kardashian mention for the birkin. totally true. I'm surprised to hear you tout such a resale value for the handbag though. everyone on youtube seems to claim that you can sell the birkin for so much more than you purchased it for, but I have not found that to be true. I've never actually sold any of mine, but I have looked into it for curiosity's sake, and none of the major resellers--Fashionphile, etc., were willing to give me even what I paid for them (not even Christie's!), despite the fact that I've kept mine in like new condition. So where does this idea come from? Who is actually giving these kinds of prices on the secondhand market?

Same with my Chanel handbags. One jumbo flap I literally never even used and Fashionphile gave me half what I paid originally, and they were the highest offer! I don't see any handbag as any sort of investment as they certainly don't provide dividends or a profit--not for me, anyway.

So good to see you girlabee! Thanks so much for your patience in checking out this monster review (sorry for the crazy length!) and really appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts. Your comments re resale are spot on (i have noticed this too) and i do want to address this in a future video as i don't believe the situation is entirely black and white. First off the mini bag trend has really discriminated against larger bags - the classic B35 is valued much lower now and you can see that when looking at minis (B25/K25 etc) where resale prices are sky high in comparison. Of course these minis are rarer to obtain so that's another factor. Another issue is that non-EU Hermes RRP is incredibly inflated so there's not much room left for resale eg. My B35 which i bought for AUD$10k equivalent from Paris tax free would cost min. AUD$16k+ here from the boutique - which means comfortable resale profit for me but not for another Australian who purchased their birkin locally. I find US Hermes boutique prices similar to the Australian situation. For such an expensive purchase, trust is a HUGE factor - i've had friends express their interest to buy my Birkin but when i direct them to a current preloved listing which is even cheaper than what i (hypothetically) would ask for, they refuse to buy as they know they can trust my birkin is 100% authentic but don't want any chance of risk from an unknown source. The birkins i have seen relisted for sale are often not ideal specs eg. navy and palladium is nice but not cornerstone. Finally it's worth remembering that often the sellers of these bags need to release cashflow within a strict timeframe - a number of the crazy bag deals i have scored are simply because the seller couldn't keep waiting. Re the Chanel Jumbo, it depends on the model and make but in general larger leather bags are losing their mainstream appeal in recent years with the direction of the mini trend eg. 2014 everyone wanted a Chanel Grand Shopping Tote and now no one wants to carry that heavy bag!

I wanted a Neverfull but I don’t like the openness plus I was bored with LV {I own at least 7 pieces I think}. I brought Goyard’s cruise and Artois bag. I like the Cruise because it reminds me of the speedy, but the Artois, frustrates me with the shape and structure once filled.

@@cmk7585 yes I purchased a bag organizer from the Container store, out of their travel section. The organizer fills the bag out nicely. It’s the zipper top thats floppy on the Artois. I just switched to my Hermès tote 👜 out of frustration. It was time to switch bags.

Hello!!! You are so thin! Wow, you sure lost the baby weight fast :) Leon looks adorable and I had to glance your instagram out of curiosity. I saw a pic of you in high heel Louboutin (at least I think they are those) and thought, however could you walk in those??? I have also been working at home during lockdown but I have no need to look good since the only time i go out is to work out at the physio or run errands. A small backpack and shopping bag are all I carry these days as I'm either going to the gym or going shopping for groceries! Also some companies like mine are requiring reduced hours and pay.... so unfortunately I have less cash / disposal income to spend. However I am not a conoisseur in luxury items so I shall just settle to watching and listenning. I realised, listening to you that you don't sound like you speak verbatim. A lot of other youtubers just start talking and improvise as they go along but your speech always seems to me like you've thought about what to say, wrote it down and maybe practised it, so when you speak, it;s based on something you already have rehearsed or scripted. Not a bad thing but it's very well described. Your description of the birkin is rather apt! I think because I spend more time working out and don't need to dress up anymore, I have lost interest in more expensive stuff. I'm still trying to furnish my apartment in Sydney actually. In terms of bags, I do not know much but I know that I tend to go for clean lines and I prefer classics more than something new and inventive. And I like Chanel, though I can't afford it at the moment. I think if I were to buy something else next, I'd aim towards something from Chanel. I do love your Kelly but the odds of me ever getting one is next to nothing! Of all the bags you have, besides the Kelly I also like that old LV alma bb. But mine is in the monogram canvas version. I wanted the darker brown colour but at the time I bought it at Heathrow, they didn't have it. In hindsight, if I'd done my research, I would have bought it in Paris and then claim it back at the airport. Now that I've gone to Paris 3 years in a row, and confident in my french and can navigate to where I can claim back my refunds at CDG, I know where to buy things and how to claim them (I did have problems claiming the refunds last year though). Mind you, a lot of the luxury fashion houses in Paris now allow immediate claims, so you pay the tax free price upon purchase and just have to make sure you send mail back the tax form at the airport. Maybe one day I'll buy a second alma bb though the price has jumped a lot since I bought it in 2018. I do wonder, given your taste in such luxury in bags, jewellery etc, and since you're an architect, does that mean your house is likely very well decorated, designed and luxurious looking??? Perhaps one day you can do a mini-tour! Just a suggestion. Or a tour of a room or kitchen etc.

Really interesting to hear that the lux fashion stores in Paris now accept tax free price upon payment - i was there June last year but didn't encounter that.
