I'm running a micro trench job rn in Colorado, in the winter and we're having a hell of a time because of the wet clay beneath. We've tried with vac, it clogs constantly, now we're trying with the shoot and it's a little better but still the clay is gumming our blades up often. It's all of our first times with this type of equipment. Any advice helps. Thanks

11:19 did they really just put the cable directly into the ground rather than using a microduct? Why continue with the bad practice of not using pipes for telecomunication cables? Not using them with copper telephone wires brought us all this shit. If we would have done it with pipes rolling out fiber would have been a breeze.

Micro trenching is a terrible practice. It’s the result of massive cost cutting.
