Mr Wijay compresses what every Singaporean wants to hear him say in the first 30sec of his speech. I will vote for him, man.

The forum really brings out who is good and bad. Hopefully every GRC/SMC have their representatives to come out with their debates before elections.

If the SDP is running for the Holland-Bukit Timah GRC as has been predicted, I really hope that they field Mr. Wijeysingha in the GRC. You will get my vote, along with the thousands of others in this GRC who have watched this program who would otherwise not have considered the SDP as a realistic and viable alternative.

I don't think Vincent is too aggressive. I think he comes across as forceful because he has passion in his gut. And his passion stems from his compassion for the people of Singapore. I'll like to see PAP candidates have some of that real passion when they give speeches, instead of reading out scripts written by some behind-the-scenes civil servant (like myself).

My worry is : If Lina Chiam isn't prepared for even a forum like this? How is she going to be prepared to lead Potong Pasir? Shame on you Lina, be prepared to shoulder the full responsibility if Potong Pasir gets lost to the ruling party.

Mr Chiam See Tong, you have been a great MP for Potong Pasir. Being one out of 2 voted opposition MPs, I'd hate to see you not represent the people in Parliament again. But if you were to contest in a GRC and let your wife contest in your Potong Pasir Ward, I have a premonition that you will end up losing both. As the Chinese saying goes, 陪了夫人又折兵(Lose your wife and also have your troops defeated.) How is Lina Chiam able to represent Potong Pasir if she cannot offer a coherent argument ?

only vincent and gerald are credible, as for the other two, better that they withdraw from such events - bad publicity is worse than no publicity!!! in fact, vincent and gerald do bring up very gd points. josephine, certainly not worth the money... minister tharman is concise and comes across as pretty balanced. my greatest frustration is with the GRCs whereby bimbotic candidates slip into parliament on the coat-tails of others. every candidate should stand and fight on his/her own merits!!

Linda is unprepared and shouldn't be the spokesperson here in this debate... How can a leader keep saying 'I think, I believe' when the host is asking for the actual actions her party is coming up with to assist Singapore should her party comes into power. And not answering to the topic posted by the host... You need to send your strongest representative / spokesperson in this kind of face-off...Linda doesn't seems to be confident with this kind of debate. 2 thumbs up for Dr Vincent =)
