I think whatever happened was the best thing that can happen for BJP and India in general. BJP needed a smack in their head to make them humble. India needed a better and strong opposition. BJP supporters need to not be confident and take election results in confidence at the same time try to focus on development and not divisive policy. Finally, by NOT winning a majority it was made clear the despite BJP and Modi having utmost power they did not misuse their power and put the democracy in danger. The capability of India to conduct a free and fair election has not been compromised and all the western media can shut up their propaganda that Democray is dead in India.

I have lived in the West all my life, but have visited India every 1-2 years for past 40 years to visit family and business . Before Modi India, econony was pathetic ....truly bad. Things changed in 1990s after India nearly became bankrupt. However, I really saw MASSIVE GROWTH & DEVELOPMENT from about 2017 onwards. Frankly, Modi has taken I dial to anazing new heights.
