None I know of. Literally all people all over the world experience significant price increases for grocery and other basic. In Singapore, it'actually quite bad compared to Germany that I visited lately.

Election year in the USA so they are dropping some prices. A bag of chips has $4.99 on the bag that was "rollbacked" to $2.00 at Walmart for example. That is a crazy price difference. Gas is back under $3 a gallon.

For those who don't know, most of us Tamil usually(not everyone follows this) have vegetarian food during the working days. We have non-veg on either Saturday, Sunday or during travel.. Edit: I am a Tamil and I am religious, obv people eat whatever they want, no restrictions.. But this is what we usually follow :-) (I don't support BJP in case if you assume an one of those crooks)

Lol, don't spread misconception. This vegetarian thing is limited to cowbelt areas. Most indians prefer anything they can get be it veg or non veg. Only a few cowbelt people prefer vegetarian and look down upon the majority non vegetarians.

I visited Pune last month and the grocery is so cheap there. Onion, tomato, potato was like IDR200 per kilo. in Malaysia double or triple the price.

Vegetables are getting little bit expensive and those one which you can preserve in Cold Storage. All prices are according to New Delhi on 22 August 2024. Lentils/Pulse are somewhere between 100 to 200 ₹ kg. Fish price depends on breed you want TUNA is 400₹ KG. Chicken in Delhi is 240₹ KG. Mutton is740₹ KG. Wheat flour is 30 to 40₹ KG. Normal Salt is 28₹ KG. Cooking Gas Cylinder is 14KG 800₹.

Overpopulation: less organic food, full of pesticides, pfas . Rising prices, 80% have no jobs, very lowwages even after working for 14 hours, decreasing underground water, rising temperatures... Only those middle class Indians who are childless will be happy rest will suffer. Overpopulation is the mother of all problems & the reason for overpopulation is freebies given from decades without one child policy ( everyone had 3 children )

5 USD for a full hour meal for lunch is far more cheaper than a sandwich, crisps and drink we get in a Tesco meal deal

It's actually 2 USD for a full meal around 90% of India.... In fact in my city a full plate of chicken briyani costs around 1 dollar 20 cents...

Every Year Every Sub District or Taluk is losing 100 Acre Fertile farm land... It means all are converting Farm land to Site for Commercial purpose... We have to import food in future....

Food inflation is rising by the months , quantity of food in restaurants are going down , prices are up . Political class think by giving free rice & dal is enough, malnutrition is rampant & will continue. Vegetable prices go up every month particularly in cities like Mumbai. India is not a cheap country by any stretch. Higher taxes & middle class the milch cow . That’s the story of India . India is a third world country & will remain so for a long time to come . True development is not happening yet . Issues & problems galore

One kilo of meat 🍖 costs twice as much as one days salary in India. Meat is a luxury we are forced to eat vegetarian.

Meat is very cheap in india as per me. But i hate eating dead bodies. Basically all meat are dead bodies of animals and i am not a scavenger.

@aksman8563 one kilo of meat is nearly 800 rs in India, 90% of Indians don't make enough money to buy one kilo of meat a day. we don't eat vegetarian because it looks like cow dung.

@freeman4899 in India lamb meat costs approximately 10$ a kilo but the meat shop looks worse than a toilet that's a different story. 90% of Indians can't afford to buy it.

@@JingJao we aint lazy, we are productive. Most Chinese work hard but at lower value items. China became the dumping ground for the world's cheap stuff and so you're definitely working hard, but at the wrong end of the supply chain. We design, patent, etc stuff, y'all make it as cheap labor, and we benefit from selling assets at premium prices. Simply, we are better than China. You don't create high value stuff. Also Chinese CANNOT be creative since you don't have a free voice. Beautiful Winnie the Pooh suppresses all free thought. Y'all are essentially slaves and your economy is collapsing, when will you bring him down?
