Donald Trump is a billionaire and when he was president, not a single billionaire was prosecuted or went into prison or was arrested. I fully support any country that prosecutes billionaires. After all, these types are members of the ruling class and are often capitalists themselves. Remember that the number one enemy of the proletariat (working class) is the capitalist class (owners of big business, media, and many industries) and therefore the construction of socialism requires the prosecution and eventual elimination of the capitalist class. 😎

As a Taiwanese, Taiwan is not a part of China, and the CCP has never ruled Taiwan for even a second. Taiwan has always been an independent and sovereign country with its own visas, national defense, elections, and prosperous way of life. For decades, Taiwan has been a model of democracy, human rights, and economic development in the Asia-Pacific region. Our people have worked hard to build a society that values freedom, diversity, and innovation, and we are proud of our achievements. Unfortunately, the Chinese government has been trying to isolate Taiwan from the international community and undermine our sovereignty by using political and economic pressure. However, we will never give in to their intimidation and will continue to defend our values and interests. We hope that the international community will recognize Taiwan's status as a free and independent country and support our efforts to participate in the global community. Taiwan is a peaceful and responsible member of the international community, and we look forward to contributing more to the world in the future. We do not wish to represent China. It was the desire of the Chinese political party KMT, which occupied Taiwan in 1949. The KMT was the ruling party in mainland China, but they were defeated in the civil war and retreated to Taiwan. They then used Taiwan as a resource for their future "retaking the mainland" plan, without investing much in Taiwan's development. Moreover, the KMT government that came to Taiwan was corrupt and oppressive. They treated the local people as second-class citizens, while considering Japan, which had colonized Taiwan before, as the enemy. Taiwan was ruled by Japan for 50 years, and during that time, the Japanese invested heavily in infrastructure, education, and industry, which laid the foundation for Taiwan's prosperity. It was the Taiwanese people who worked hard and built Taiwan into the modern, democratic, and prosperous society it is today. We cherish our hard-won freedom, democracy, and diversity, and we will never go back to the authoritarian rule of the past. We have our own unique identity, culture, and history, which are distinct from those of China. We hope that the world can understand and respect our status as a free and democratic country, and that the Chinese government can respect our sovereignty and stop trying to annex Taiwan. Only a small minority of Taiwanese people wish to identify themselves as Chinese, and even among them, most are people who fled to Taiwan with Chiang Kai-shek in 1949. Unfortunately, after Chiang and his Nationalist Party (KMT) arrived in Taiwan, they implemented policies that discriminated against the local people and tried to impose their own cultural identity and ideology on Taiwan. Chiang's regime banned the use of Taiwanese language, replaced local officials with KMT members, and even changed the names of streets and landmarks to Chinese names. They carried out a policy of cultural suppression and oppression, as well as imposed a long period of martial law and white terror, during which many innocent people were persecuted and killed. Similar to Xi Jinping today, Chiang held onto power for many years, and even passed the presidency to his son. This kind of authoritarian rule is unacceptable to the Taiwanese people, who have fought hard for their democracy and freedom. Today, Taiwan is a vibrant, pluralistic society with its own unique culture, language, and history. We cherish our hard-won democracy and freedom, and we hope that the world can recognize Taiwan as an independent and sovereign country. We also hope that China can respect our sovereignty and refrain from using military or political pressure to annex Taiwan. Only by respecting each other's differences and working together, can we achieve a peaceful and prosperous future for the region.

The best defense against communist authoritarian dictatorship is to strengthen democracies from corrupting influences and nepotism. It takes an active and concerted effort of the people, to ensure that our democratically elected politicians are truly representing our interests. We must also address what hostile communist countries are doing, both domestically and abroad. Democratic Nations must stand together against their lawlessness in defense of global security, human rights, and enforce International Law.

China is in the process of becoming the paramount global economy, reorienting the majority of global economic productivity towards itself, from raw resources to intermediate goods, finished manufactured products, and the service sector. Give them a decade to replicate the US-dominated semiconductor industry and they will be *the* superpower of the East. Period. Once they are permanently immune from Western economic sanctions and there's no chance of the West taking extreme action without risking total obliteration of themselves economically they will then be free to continue transitioning toward a full socialist economy, while progressing the rest of the globe also toward socialism. The communist state of society does not and has not ever existed, yet: it is an end-state, the goal of a socialist transition is to create a/the communist society, globally. Socialism comes *after* capitalism, so a prospective communist party must fully industrialize and fully capitalize (ie imperialize) the global economy, before it is structurally possible to begin a meaningful, large-scale socialist transition towards communism. Inevitability.
