The govt. says that this step is necessary to keep the retail people out of trading as they make losses. This is advertised as govt is very much careful about retailers, means people with less capital. My question is if govt wants to protect the poors, the why they do not ban alcoholic things to protect them. Why gutkha and other tobacco products are not banned? This stp seems only to profit big players by keeping the retailers away or compelling to go for option buying to benefit the moneyed people and institutions who short the options. What do you feel?

It could be a good move by the SEBI. But what about Sports betting (Dream 11, Rummy, Poker, Teen Patti, etc.), Cyber scams, Credit and Debit cards scams, UPI scams, and many more where people are getting looted and no one is helping those people. Government is also getting taxes on sports betting and they have access to that data as well. Still no measure taken by the Govt.
