4.5 million? I’m pretty sure a financial crisis won’t drop the value of that house by 85%..... maybe 50%

@@apt62 It's coming sooner than you think with this whole coronavirus pandemic. Stocks and property are about to get a LOT cheaper. My sister is real estate broker in California and she told me it's tough for anyone to get mortgages right now. Also, with the economic lockdown, it's very likely a lot of business owners and workers will lose their livelihood and wont be able to pay their rent/mortgages.

That last house is gorgeous! I personally don’t like those other huge “modern” buildings, so called “houses” that look like someone put white, grayscale, black furniture in those massive, vacuous, marble warehouses that feel cold and lonely. Houses like the last one in this video are true art pieces with incredible craftsmanship, and then filled with even more beautiful art in natural tones and color. Such beautiful energy in it.

Only 5 bedsrooms? seriously most 1 family homes are 4 bedrooms. way over priced since it has NOTHING around it, the landscape is ugly.

Well those people who can afford this doesn't seem to have that many children nor they will stay at this place. More like an investment than a next home for the buyer.

@@AnythingMike it's desert. I bought 3 acres just outside Vegas for 60K. I own 2,700 acres in central Tennessee and I paid roughly $1,600 per acre. I own 3 acres in southern Pennsylvania an hour north of DC and Baltimore, and I paid $9,000 in a residential new neighborhood on a cul-de-sac. Land is a great investment. Why? Because they're not making anymore of it.

I read up on it (briefly) and found that the owner(s) bought the land in 2006 and spent 5 years and around $30 million on the construction. The husband passed away during renovation, and the wife wanted to sell because the home was made for "the both of us". I found that on a 2016 Forbes article, and have no current knowledge of this property. Is it for sale again? Did it ever sell? Maybe someone will bid a little lower and take it off the wife's hands. I don't know.

@Jeff Webb I can't find it on Zillow when I search Las Vegas homes $10M+..... The most expensive I see is $18.5M and many homes for $10M - $15M are 10,000 square foot or more.

@@stoicstudents I'm a realist. If 1 out of 10 people had the choice to live like that they probably would. Now comes the reality check. You need to be worth roughly 60,000,000. Yea 60m, to buy a 30m dollar home. You are probably spending close to 1m a year just in property maintenance. Things add up. Don't fool yourself.
