what he meant is that the advisory shares will be focused because sometimes a partnership doesnt always come with focusing on helping your business so he is making sure that mark give them importance in terms of advice and an answer to their questions because mark has a lot of business he is not just a mavericks guy he is a busy guy
@RobertMatlock24 күн бұрын
He literally asked for advisory shares. Learn what that means before commenting bud.
@skipjumpfly4 ай бұрын
This guy did not come for a deal, he was probably just interested in free advertising. You can tell by how reluctant he was to accept Mark’s offer which was so close to what he came in asking for (I mean an additional 2% advisory share c’mon).

if you into stock market, you would know how huge is 2%...For example, 2% in apple is 308 million shares.. each share cost 227 dollars.. I know this company is not as big as apple but once when a company goes public, the value of every single percent becomes huge
@anarabicdp4 ай бұрын
Advertising for an app business like his on Shark Tank doesn't make sense. He's for sure thinking about the money he will lose when he sells the company. Especially if he has other investors as well.
@anovosedlik4 ай бұрын
It's tech. The 2% is a big deal because this either totally fails or totally succeeds and makes hundreds of millions. So seed investors would not be happy seeing that someone coming in later would get preferential treatment, no matter who he is. Could dilute them, especially if he has more rounds (which he likely does).

@@anovosedlik I think they're talking about the government as a body with a lot of scope to implement policies and introduce legislation to stop activities they don't agree with, rather than the individual handling of fines by say a local enforcement officer.

I've gone 35 years of living without a single parking ticket, could never understand why people can't take accountability for being wrong, the signs are not confusing if you can read on a third grade level, glad to hear this over entitled rich guy went out of business. Also, normal everyday guy here, car ownership is not going anywhere, as someone who lives in the real world, people need their vehicles and that ain't changing.
@tyrellcobb46654 ай бұрын
Well lucky you. There are cities in the United States where it's practically impossible to avoid a ticket. The city intentionally puts contradictory signs or the ticketing agent tickets you anyway even when there is no violation - it is a well known revenue generating tactic. In fact you should always fight your ticket. The government expects that a small percentage of people will (very correctly) fight their tickets and makes allowance for that. The problem is when that small percentage becomes a big flood thanks to apps like this. The reason he went out of business is not because people won't use it, but because the authorities that will normally look the other way will crack down if it becomes too popular and it really starts to hurt their revenue. Like Kevin said, not a good idea to be in the business of taking revenue away from the government, sooner or later they will put you out of business.
