Making money is not the same as keeping it there is a reason why investments aren't well taught in schools, the examples you gave are well stationed, the market crisis gave me my first millions, people shy away from hard times, I embrace them.. well at least my advisor does lol.

In my opinion, it was much easier investing back in the 90s but it’s a lot trickier now, those making consistent profit in these times are professionals reason I’ve been using an advisor for the past 5 years to consistently build my portfolio in preparations for retirement.

If your company doesn’t have a 401k, then I’d open a Roth IRA through either Vanguard, fidelity, e-trade, Charles Schwab. Buy the following within the Roth IRA: 2 tech (Apple and Microsoft) ans 2 index ETFs (VOO, VTI)

Last year Soleno Therapeutics did more than 2000%. Funny how I was sceptical when my financial advisor suggested the stock. I was like, what on earth is Soleno Therapeutics? I've made so much from small cap companies last year. Might be sticking to that this year still.
