Don't ever listen to this fool again, ever. "XYZ is a villain in this story"? Yeah, and your not Cramer? This is sickening to watch.

Cramer did the exact thing he accused Schultz and others of. Selling Theranos without due diligence. But board members are villains? And and he dis-remembers his own puffery on behalf of Holmes? He does that a lot.

If I were Holmes and was just indicted on 11 federal counts the last thing I would do would be to get pregnant while I am dealing with all this. Except…….if I thought that being the mother of a newborn might garner sympathy with some of the jurors and get me a hung jury then I would get pregnant. She also was able to con a much younger man, Billy Evans, into marrying her and knocking her up. Oh, and BTW, he is an heir to a vast hotel fortune on top of everything else. Homes is at the very least a major Sociopath if not a full blown Psychopath.

I loved this book. The only thing I have an issue with, regarding the author, John, is his version told thru numerous interviews about Holmes’ lawyers ambushing Tyler Schultz, but the book says something quite a bit different; as well as a betrayal by Tyler’s own grandfather. In the book, Tyler asks if he can speak alone with his grandpa George, former Secretary of Defense (State thank you Robert) under Reagan, as well as a board member of Theranos. Afterwards, what Tyler thought was a private conversation, George tells him he’s going to get the two Theranos lawyers who are upstairs in the same home this “private” conversation took place, so Tyler can sign an affidavit and/or NDA. George ambushed Tyler, the lawyers were just being lawyers. The grandfather betrayed his grandson. John - you tell everything else like it is, don’t tiptoe around the old fart’s bad behavior towards his own grandson. ✌️

An ambush is an attack by an adversary from a concealed position. Secretary Shultz was certainly complicit in facilitating the ambush and in doing so betrayed his grandson. It's not clear to me but I think that Shultz contacted Holmes to advise that Tyler had agreed to meet with the lawyers and that they would also be meeting that night. Holmes, perhaps worried that Tyler might change his mind, pressed the point and asked to have lawyers there. No one knows exactly what Holmes said to the attorneys but even if the attorneys were made aware that Tyler wouldn't know that they were coming, that probably wouldn't have changed what happened so long as their actions didn't violate the California Rules of Professional Responsibility. (Also, a minor point but George Shultz served as secretary of state and not defense.)
@Candigale
@Candigale 3 жыл бұрын
@@robertmclaughlin9472 I’m not sure what your point is, except to point out state over defense. You opining isn’t anymore credible than mine and I only used what the author provided. So, if you came to correct me, I made the change, and gave you credit. Good day sir.

John is a hero! and every taxpayer in nearly every country should be truly greatful to him. He stopped the biggest potential financial tax heist on every taxpayer that would have taken place decades into the future. A way has to be found to financially reward Whistleblower's who legitimately expose serious wrong doing to people and Governments!! You see! I believe, Elizabeth Holmes, was in fact a stalking horse on behalf of the Corporate corrupt! If this heist had succeeded the taxpayer (Joe Public) would have lost £billions. Great to see war criminal, Henry Kissinger, take a big financial hit! And that other News Rag guy Rupert Murdoch. Where they really co-conspirators?
