Three reasons why 4K and above 1.6 billion gamers with AAA game titles averaging above 80GB and still poor internet service in areas where gaming and the need for data is growing where they don't have an option for online services. Also extra to add into the pot is Spectrum may start capping data limits because they'll be off of the deal with the merger sometime next year. This will cause a need for a high capacity storage in home and small to medium business levels. With small to medium business they won't be able to keep their data backed up efficiently through cloud storage. This means you may be going back to off-site storage where data is backed up and moved physically to another location. It will also put a hit on some of your favorites like Hulu Disney and other streaming service. Cox and Comcast have already started in certain locations. Some businesses have already shifted to off site storage. One of the reasons why you're seeing a unexpected turn in cloud storage doesn't take but a couple of percent to cut into profit on something with as tight of profit margins as cloud storage.
