@@bettyhoward3866 You start off by doing exactly the same thing that poor citizens of other nations do. Not having kids for starters, since you can't provide for them. Only a selfish clown would want to bring children into the world where they can't be provided for. I couldn't afford to have a bunch of kids, so I didn't. Wow, that was tough. Not really. And the irony is, I would often go days without food as a child and I would steal food to get by. Ironically, my ancestors arrived here on the Mayflower, we've been here 400+ years, yet I starved as a child, but illegal immigrants are put into hotels and fed, and it's f'n obvious they're fed, judging by their body fat. I have a big gfy to anyone supporting illegals while allowing our own citizens to starve and live in the streets.

When previous generations migrated to the US. 1/3 of them went back home. There were no handouts and there were no organizations providing for the trip. As a Christian it is difficult to see anyone in distress. There were many American victims in all of this. The people who were brought here were victims also. The NGOs and government institutions had plans to use these people and did not care how many died or were victimized. There are legal and far less dangerous ways for people to get here. It is far better that that happens for everyone. Sometimes a hand out isn't the Christian thing to do.
