here is some inf. that I found: El aguacate es considerado un alimento nativo de las regiones tropicales y subtropicales de América.

🇲🇽 Mexican Food, "Intangible Heritage of Humanity", Unesco (UN/ONU). Along the French, Japanese, Mediterranean and Mexican Food, with such distinction. Avocados, aguacates, (or paltas, term used in S.Ame)., are a Mexican gift to the world. Just as chocolate, vanilla, and corn.

In Canada we pay much more for Avocado, in fact we make way less and pay more for everything. Especially housing, a 200k run down house in the U.S will cost more than 1 million Canadian. I think Canada is fast becoming Mexico.

California is the only valuable state in America but it’s already wasting too much water to feed America that’s shy it’s not viable to produce avocados in California.

Well, It's very simple: 20 years ago guacamole and avocados were a Mexican restaurants tradition, mostly. Nowadays it has expanded to the entire world as a delicacy. Especially in USA. I heard even guacamole and tortilla chips is the most consumed dish during the Superbowl, 5 de Mayo and most holidays. In fact, there are three things you can't never get rid of your life: a Mexican, a Mariachi, a shot of tequila, tacos, and a tasty guacamole.
