CNC Basecamp Ep009: 10 Drawer Cabinet

If you need some help organizing a collection, craft materials or small tools in your shop, the 10 Drawer Cabinet featured in this episode of CNC Basecamp is the answer. The cabinet is designed to be easy to build and to be a platform for all sorts of different looks. Make the carcass and drawers as per the plans and then change things up. The finished top can be given a generous overhang or none at all. The cabinet can sit upon any style of base but applied legs are strong and easy - no complicated joinery here. Work with the shape of the leg as well as the height.

Why not keep the hind legs also a bit shy of the back panel to keep room for the skirting board? So I can put it stif against the wall ?

Shorten the legs, use no pin nails, stain as desired, French Polish = jewelry cabinet.

The nails in the "corbels" runned this cabinet for me, sorry. It was a quick fix finishing touch that could/should have been done with more care.

@@terry2346 Using a CNC to perfectly cut all your parts is not real woodworking...call it whatever you want, but is not woodworking. Maybe wood assembly.
