CNC controlled electrospark engraving

An improvised engraving head implemented with an electromagnet controlled electrode. Current is supplied to the electromagnet as soon as the electrode touches the metal plate, as soon as contact is made the electromagnet pulls the metal electrode away from the plate creating a repeating, vibrating motion, and the spark generated on the contacting area marks the metal.

How many volts and how many amps did you use?

I think it was a 12V, 2amp supply or something like that.
