CNC Makes Christmas Ornament 2022

This video shows the making of the 2022 Christmas Ornament using a shop built CNC machine.
The CNC machine is based on plans available from Kronos Robotics and is dubbed the KRMx02.

Great tutorial Richard, can you make a video on how you have your indicator set up on your machine. I see you are using rubber bands

Hi Fierceflyer55, The indicator's magnetic base rod was unscrewed from the magnetic base, and then simply mounted in the spindle collet. I have a 15/32" ER20 collet that matches the diameter of the rod for this purpose. The rubber bands where there to prevent the spindle from rotating as the indictor moved over the stock. Since this video was filmed, I have 3D-printed an indicator holder which was down-loaded from Thingiverse. In Thingiverse Its called "Dial indicator clamp for CNC router spindle".
