So Cool. My Father worked at a company call Standard Pressed Steel in Jenkintown PA. When I was a kid I would love to go see all those machines running. He was an old tool and die guy and worked his way up in the company. Thanks Vin 👍.

I still run a old Milltronics CNC mill to this day. This operation on my machine is called peck drilling. Thanks Vinnie for the vids! Awesome!! I hope one day I can run some Haas stuff.

This brings back memories. I was a 20-year CNC machinist until I made a career change three years ago.

Hey, I got tired of plant after plant closing in my state. My sister is an RN and suggested I go into the medical field. I'm an RN at a local hospital now. It's rewarding and the pay is better lol.

Jason Barefoot good for you. Helping others makes more sense than making steel parts. Congratulations!

Yeah memories of how rancid that water smelled when firing up the CNC first thing in the morning. LOL!

The black country wanderer 1973 if the machine was off for more than 3 days you would have to turn on the coolant and run out of the shop while it circulated for about 20 minutes. Love love love operating these bad boys, but ugh that smell!

Hey Vin man thanks for posting this kinda stuff. I also enjoy just your rants at the office. Would certainly like to see some tool reviews and toolbox tours/shop tours

Simply amazing how work done many years ago by hand now literally takes a few hours combined to complete! I personally would be hard pressed to pick out the difference between an old school "miller" hand worker's creation and one done by a today's milling machines...but seems BOTH end up Supreme Looking! I'm sure there are many Vinnie Fans out there watching and thinking "What I could do with one of those machines"!!! Cheers From Ohio

The Stuport I think there's a nice happy medium of both old school and new a good combination

How many different bits did this CNC have? Also have you ever run a wood cutting and routing CNC? Just wondering if it's pretty similar or not.

I've always wondered..does the coolant/lubricant...used in machining operations like this (and sometimes oil is used?) get filtered and reused or does it have to be fresh every time?
@richt19076 жыл бұрын
Vinny you have any footage of behind the scenes when you were working with Jr at PJD? How did you guys get along when it was just you and Paulie ?

This might be a stupid question so I apologize in advance. What do you do with the unused piece of metal? Do you discard it,or flip it over and use it again?
@radioman64896 жыл бұрын
Vinnie why don't you get a hold of TLC or Discovery and have your own motorcycle show on television doesn't hurt to try it out and call. Your a great builder that is why Jr. tried to get you back recently.

Ok dumb question, but why are you having to do this? If it comes to you from the primary company, why do you have to modify it?
