Hi, so is it a good decision to purchase a separate metal enclosure for all the power supply's? i did decide to go this route because i dont want EMI to ruin my experience with the machine. might be overkill though since many people called me a idiot for going this route 😅

Thank you for your support. You're certainly not an idiot, as there's a lot to learn about robotics. A single metal electrical enclosure is all that's required unless you plan on installing your VFD in one. Thank you, Vince

Hey Vince, when you refer to USB in your videos, does that speak to all types of USB? For example USB-C?

Yes, all USB motion controllers re what I'm discussing as the connector type has nothing to do with the stability of these units. USB is the most unstable form of signal transmission compared to ethernet. Thank you, Vince

I watched this guy and came to the same conclusion, clickbait and a fake junk bin build that could never work. Windows is the absolute worst operating system for real time. Actually Windows is the absolute worst operating system period.
