How do you separate all the layers? I’m trying to make the Real Madrid logo on my shapeoko and I can’t wrap my head around the separation of layers

I did that in carbide create. I picked out the areas that I wanted to be the top layers. For me i chose to have the dark as the depressed areas and the light as the raised areas. When they were separated in carbide create I turned off sections so i could envision what I was looking for.

What would something like this cost just to have cut to wood, not counting painting? Also, how did you get the original image loaded into the CNC? Are you able to upload an image (jpg) into the software?

It took me about four hours to get the image ready . I first found an image that was clear enough to import to Adobe Illustrator. I used image trace in AI then converted it to a vector. Then opened the file in carbide create and did extensive editing in that program to get it ready to cut on my CNC machine.

Bobs CNC Router. The one I have will cut a 2 foot by 4 foot piece of board. I paid $1400 for it.

MDF. You can get 2' x 4' sheets at Home Depot

you should cut the inside before doing the outside profile.
