I was a starcraftplayer and this looks good. A wide variaty of strategies and tactics. The game could have been better if the factions were more balanced. Now only GDI gets played. I did play the Dune 3 camapiagn so a lot looks familiar. Harvestr harass. Building snipes. Big titan armies etc.

yea basically nod doesn't have as much power in the attack until late game and doesn't have the defense to get to late game to use the attacks unless they do some really clever stuff like taking war factory with engs right after tech but before disrupter and other things to keep the gdi player from becoming an economy monster and getting titans and orca-bombers. on larger maps where the gdi player cant send heaps of titans nod does better. but yeah nod players get all the respect with the sexy skillz :)

Shit, I didn't know people still played TS. Private servers maybe.. C&C has taken a huge plunge, they need to go back to TS, old school with modern tech and bigger maps. Wars sucked, and after the patch... I don't even want to talk about it. Not to mention it's hard as shit to load on Win 10.

I may have to do that. I loved Westwood, and I'm not sure there is another gaming series in the world where I have bought the games brand new off the store shelf. I even bought the TS Platinum edition with the soundtrack and pewter figurine of NOD. Then, of course, I have the Decade collection. Which really is a uncalled for pain in the ass to install and enter every cd key known to man.. I am still not happy with how Win 10 hates it either. Not sure if it has problems with all c&c, but T Wars is a fight to play, keeps crashing, or failure to load the dvd. I'm disappointed they haven't issued a patch to resolve the issue. Well, I do hope they try to bring C&C back to it's former glory.

This is fuckin awesome, memories of high school and all that. My buddy that I played this with always derided the Mammoth Mk2 as being too slow and vulnerable and I was never all that good at the game... so it's nice to see that what I was trying with the carryall is an integral strategy with pros

With all that amount of tiberium spents on infantry, titan, mammoth and Carry all; can anybody tell me why couldn't they just built few rpg towers near MCV?

Different players have different styles. Some players will build a few RPGs in their base. In the beginning part of the game, you don't want to cancel building a refinery so you can build an RPG, so you have to use infantry to kill infantry. In the middle part of the game, you can build RPGs to defend against enemy titans but the enemy might just attack your harvesters and avoid the RPG. Also, RPGs have a blind spot that is a 1 cell radius around them, that's where people will land a disruptor and the RPG can't hit it.

It's too bad that since Win-10 release, I can't even play this game again... Been looking for an alternative, but no can do - it keeps crashing again and again, don't know what's wrong with it... This, as well as Red-Alert 2 (because, and most likely used same engine), are now outright unplayable for me...
