I just wanted to thank you for mentioning putting grapefruit sparkle over strawberry smoothie in another video. Strawberry smoothie is one of my all time favorite colors, but I hadn't seen grapefruit sparkle before. I picked it up, and this is such a pretty combination. I can't get over it!

Yes, it's a great combo, I have a video of using this combo in my "Watch Me Work"video of it on my private channel www.patreon.com/TheSalonLife

Can you recommend a blue polish to put under the Starry Sapphire? Thanks!

Oh no, more colours to add to my collection! Thanks for another great swatch video, have my eye on Ice Vapor now. 😄 Sparks Fly is great over so many colours, clients like it over Pink Pursuit and Offbeat a lot and I expect to do a few “Frozen” manicures with Glacial Mist.

Ohhhh.... Offbeat would be a good idea!! Thank you Karen!

Great video, thank you. I have most of these colours but have never tried layering them so I'm definitely going to give this a go. I've also ordered Ice Vapor as it looks so beautiful x

I currently use luxio and ugly duckling gel polishes however I'm looking for more options and I love the finishes of the CND shellac. Would you recommend? What's the longevity like for these babies? Also can I use my luxio base and top with these?

Does the led cnd lamp cures all shellac uv gel too?
@TheSalonLife4 жыл бұрын
According to scientist and chemists (because sales people will tell you often anything to sell their gel or lamp or simply they don’t know chemistry) there is no such a thing as “universal lamp”. CND lamp cures CND products properly (that includes CND Shellac). It also cures properly Light Elegance gels because their chemist actually tested that in their lab. Gels feel hard and “look” cured when they are 50% cured. They need to be cured to around 90% to avoid allergies and service breakdown. You can’t tell the difference between 50-90% with naked eye. Thank youfor your response, actually bought the lamp but im New with cnd shellac and was worried that the old shellcwould not be able to be cured . Love your videos, always so interesting and full of information ❤️❤️❤️

Which one did you buy? The brand new one that launched this summer? I like both of them actually. They both cure shellac very well. With the old one you have to make sure the clients fingers are positioned perfectly and directly under the bulbs. The new one has more bulbs and is a bit more forgiving. Thank you for watching! :)
