It doesn't have to be 70% if it more just don't use as much of it. Use more water.

Hello, I am not trying to be rude, you do a great job and you were on point about using the distilled water. One thing though, the alcohol can dry out the LCD screens and shorten its lifetime. Glasses and everything else though that's fine. Thank you for your time.

@@mrpadillaofficial distilled water and a microfiber towel. Thats it for 98% of the time. If you have a spaghetti incident, then add one drop of dish soap to the small spray bottle, with distilled water. Thats it! But OP is right, alcohol is a terrible idea.

Isopropyl alcohol can be used to remote some lens coatings. The cleaner I use is ammonia & alcohol free.

You really need to take this video down. People are going to DESTROY the anti-glare coating that are on modern monitors. Do NOT use alcohol, just water.

It’s the oleophobic coatings not the anti glare. Many LCD manufacturers actually recommend 50/50 alcohol/distilled water in their official literature. Dilution here is key. Of course I’m not endorsing nor recommending anyone do this. Follow your manufacturers recommendations always

DO NOT put alcohol (or ammonia) on your TV. This video is over 4 years old & putting alcohol on a 4K TV is tantamount to lighting $1000 on fire.

Why is that?, it's probably just 30% IPA. Very diluted. Helps dry the water faster.

LifeRider 96 read the manual of any major brand 4K tv and they'll ALL say "do NOT clean your tv with alcohol." Just spritz water on a microfiber cloth & lightly wipe. Voila.

4k uses the same lcd and led panels and covers as usual... so dont worry, you can keep using this solution...

I been using this method for more than a year and i can tell you this: A professional lent cleaner cost more but the result are somehow better (leaves a small residual layer that cover all scratches on cell phones like magic), still for a cheap monitor this is the best solution, but for expensives camera optical lens i would not recommend this ;)

It evaporates too fast. You need the water to pick up the grime, and then the alcohol to make it dry quickly.

Alcohol-based cleaners may damage your phone as they can corrode and remove the protective coating on the glass screen . A screen protector can protect your screen, but there are lots of other parts of your phone that can potentially get damaged by too much liquid. A safer way to disinfect your phone is using a specialized mobile phone sanitizer like atom cleanse. I'm currently using it and so far, so good. It's very easy, convenient and effective at killing all the germs.

+Bernice Anaya Purified is just essentially "cleaner" water. Distilled is 100% guaranteed to not have any minerals or impurities, since many people use it for very important things like cleaning electronics or for use in deep cell batteries.

its the process. Distillation and Purification. Distillation is heating up the water and collecting the vapor, which they then bottled. Purification is when water passes thru several stages of filter to clean the water.

Pharmacy/drug store, is very common just like alcohol don´t worry, and destiled water is what we use for the car, so any car station will do.
