@carlosdominguez31086 ай бұрын
Sure you can talk about thrust, but that's secondary to simple safety. You have a rig on your back, you still need to reach back and deploy your pilot chute. Have an electric thrust system on your back ensures there will eventually be a snag or some sort, or you can't deploy, or there's weird burbles that make the pilot chute unable to deploy a main. Keep in mind you don't even have a reserve in BASE.

Just imagine how this tech will just get better and better, as battery technology continues to improve ...
@valeharperx2 жыл бұрын
5 minutes of battery is already pretty impressive. Think about it, you're not keeping this thing running for the whole 5 minutes. Instead, you're only using it every now and then to adjust and when you want to go higher. The use time to do that is far less, so your potential flight time ends up being much more than 5 minutes total.
@ct17622 жыл бұрын
battery tech is not going to improve as much or as fast as you think. the more energy dense, the more unstable it becomes. just like Musk's vaporware claims about a battery 2x as powerful by doubling the size only.
