Lady, if you wanna say "dude, don't say that on my show" that's fine. But flipping her shit completely like that? Seriously?! she absolutely knew what she was doing!!! Sorry Kyle is is wrong to call this "Liberal" PC outrage. it's simple sycophantism. The guard has changed, there is no money in ducking up the ass of liberals. CNN isn't stupid, their new boss is the right and stuff like this proves it. Not a chance in 1m that this woman is that stupid. It's right out of FOX news broadcasting 101 manual. The guard has changed and Kyle should be reporting that instead of suggesting this woman is "liberal PC" . She isn't liberal PC anymore than her higher ups, who are now ready to suck Trump ass. I empathize with the plight of most progressives but I would suggest we lose the "right /left" repub/democrat banners....time for a new third party that embraces science and reality and which is ready to change the whole political system. The only reason the rich continue to succeed is that people are brainwashed into thinking it's the fault of sycophant politicians, which is only a symptom of the larger problem; that the top 1% are psychopaths, who rely on the sycophants to do their dirty work (however many politicians are corporate plants and many receive jobs within the company after their political tenure.) They can not be trusted to be proper custodians and benevolent autocrats. With possible exception of guys like Elon Musk, people should be targeting the owners of multinational corps who buy politicians and media outlets in the first place. Psychopaths are only 1% of the population for a reason. It is a trait that should be a benefit to natural selection, I e. having no morals is self promoting. The reality is that it's not self preserving, all psychopath dictators who weren't benevolent, were assassinated throughout history and were almost weeded out. Our job is to ensure the psychopaths do not gain absolute power. I am not advocating fur assassinations in this day and age, but democracy only has a chance by taking control of the government and regulating the shit out of greedy businesses. Time to drop all the brainwash rich propaganda that would suggest capitalism is the be all and end all strategy for an economic system. It's time to use science to more efficiently standardize essential services. DE-PRIVITIZATION and installing a regime based on deontological ethics is the best way forward.

I can't speak for all black people (obviously), but I have to say as a black woman, to hear quotes with that word in it that replace it with "N-Word" just take the wind out of how truly awful it is. Using that word casually, using it to disparage and divide people, that's wrong. Saying in a quotation, though? It hits you in the chest, because it is so disgusting and dehumanizing. It shows on an emotional level how wrong it is to use it so easily. Now if it's an issue of daytime television and the ban on swearing, then you have an argument in my eyes. Other than that, I implore people to stop getting so damn triggered when honest, good people quote monsters to highlight just how awful these hateful words truly are.

TheCompulsiveWinner Well even though by society in general I'm considered as black, there's always those people who go out and call me out telling me "hey you're not black you're mixed" like I didn't notice that :D but people perceive me as black so it's easier to say just that than just to say oh i'm x% black and x% white... Make it easier for a brother out here to explain themselves ahah It's already hard enough for us to define ourselves let alone define ourselves to another person :) And it's specially hard for me to find an identity because I grew from two completely different cultures, my father is african and my mother european. It's a clusterfuck in my mind ahah

I relate man society always telling you what you are and aren't. I'm ethnically Persian (parents from Iran) but I can't tell you how many people say I'm white, Arab, Mexican, Latin American, basically everything haha.

Baldwin is more troubled by her guest's QUOTING of an ugly word used by a Presidential Appointee, than she is by that Presidential Appointee ACTUALLY USING THE WORD ! ... And of course, it IS an ugly and unacceptable word . But Kaiser was just telling her what Steve Bannon HAD in fact said, in order to illustrate that Bannon was a racist and should therefore be disqualified to hold the Appointment he was given. Trying to gloss over racism will NOT make it go away, as recent events have shown. And there is a big difference between the gratuitous use of a word for shock-value, and quoting it to make a point: if I use the word " Nazi " in a glib and casual fashion to denigrate the Police, I am using it to insult and demonize an entire profession, but if I quote an angry protester or a Civil Rights activist, I am simply relating what an opponent of the Police may have said in some given comment. - It DOESN'T mean that I am personally anti-police. Baldwin has a history of this silly little-girly reaction to comments from guests, - she tears up, she covers her face over comments from guests, when some of those comments should have been anticipated. I find her to be goofy and unprofessional - she should be on FOX, where shitty acting is the norm.

Ice cube and Ice T and every other rapper use it in every other song. Better sort out these race relations issues soon america because the demographics are shifting - whites will be the major minority in the USA in 20 years and China and India (both homogeneous countries) with the corporations are on the rise taking world GDP at America's expense. while America is still divided by Race topics, wealth and income will fall for all working whites, blacks and latino's over the next decades. Most of the rights enjoyed by the working classes came from returned servicemen in Wars used to working as a unit fighting for the Unions and the American dream. sad to see a great country like America that the rest of the world looked up to for protection, human rights and values ceed to crony capitalism. Was Trump was the right choice for 2016, time will tell.
