My father was a B-17 bomber pilot who held his burning plane steady until all of his crew had bailed out before bailing out himself. He and his crew were all captured by the SS. and spent the last 9 months of the war in a POW camp in Barth on the Baltic in Germany. He and two others escaped from the liberating Russians who were no longer our allies at that point. The memoir that he finally wrote is horrifying. He suffered from undiagnosed, untreated PTSD and survivors guilt right up until he died at age 92. I have never in my life hated anyone like I hate the subhuman who called McCain and Bush Sr, and would have called my father a loser.

I don’t commend him. Kelly stood by when he said these things. As a veteran it’s disgusting that any vet supports Trump. How can you hear him say these things about vets and not punch him in the mouth.
