If anyone was unaware, they made a tv miniseries about this called Black Bird. Very very unsettling, and a scary level of acting.
@roooooin

Yes, I’ve seen this one too and given how unsettling this case the cast did a bang-up job portraying the story and so did the casting people (don’t know the proper title of them) in finding and bringing them together. Also a TW; do not watch if you’re triggered by abuse/homicide/ rape concerning kids etc. It’s ok to pass watching something that everyone marks as a must-see.

One of my cousin's sons was kidnapped and killed by a secret police from a Central American country years ago. She never recovered his body, she doesn't know where he was killed exactly, she couldn't bury her son, she doesn't have a place in a cemetery to go visit him. I think that is a type of pain that is very difficult to explain. In those countries they do it to keep people in their place, quiet. It's very cruel.

I was taken by someone w.hile at a bar in Davenport, Iowa back in 83. I had to have been slipped something in my drink and some how got away and ran across Interstate 80 into Pleasant Valley and ran to a house where they called police. I was arguing with a officer when I came out of the blackout. Who ever had me threw my wallet in a mail box in Gary, Indiana. They were bad people who had me. Its a mirace I survived. There are predators everyway I have 2 big dogs and I am extremely careful Going thru that changed me. I never recovered those memories. Just vague memories of the bridge that crosses the Mississippi river I stopped drinking after that. Wish I could say I never drank again but 2 years later I did drink and it was a hot mess This is reality for me I am lucky to be alive

No matter whereabouts u r on the planet. In the city or in the most rural of areas. Watch ur alcohol intake, especially around strangers. Predators see someone vulnerable and they will pounce. Jimmy was released and his record was completely cleared, not even a traffic ticket on his record, and rightfully so! It sounds like you're exploring a documentary or film that delves into a very serious and intriguing subject. Tackling stories like these often requires a delicate balance of investigative diligence and sensitivity towards the victims and their families. It's impressive how filmmakers and investigators can bring light to these stories, striving for justice and awareness. The dedication of those who work on such cases-be it in real life or through storytelling-reminds us of the resilience and strength found in communities when facing adversity. Let's hope that sharing these stories can prevent future tragedies and offer some solace to those affected.

I live in Wisconsin, once a friend told me that one night he left a gas station and someone came up to his car and turned on a red light. They just sat there for a while and then this guy got out of the car and walked up to my friend’s car and said he was a cop. The red light on the guy’s car wasn’t a roller light or a flashing light. When he said he was a cop, I friend told him right away that he wasn’t no cop. He told him to get a life and my friend took off. This was around 1980/81. Years later, they found out that John Wayne Gacy used to do the same thing sometimes. JWG used to ride on the strip where the water parks are in Wisconsin Dells looking for people. That’s not far from where my friend lived.
