There was a group of some 5,000 Israeli and Palestinian women (and some men) who called for peace between the two states. They wore white as a symbol of "no war" and peacefully marched together to Jerusalem to show the solidarity of women against war. We also saw after Netanyahu was installed for another term as prime minister there were thousands and sometimes tens of thousands of Israeli citizens protesting his return to office. Okay here you go: A ceasefire is agreed upon and Israel withdraws. A UN peacekeeping force made up of troops volunteered from nations as removed from the conflict as possible(no Americans or Europeans) - I would propose a coalition force from South American and African nations - funded by contributions from all UN member states. The Peacekeeping force would control the 1967 borders while the Palestinian Authority would be re-organized under UN supervision into the People's Republic of Palestine. A constitution would be drafted by an international coalition of legal experts and the newly formed state would hold elections in a parliamentary system and then would vote on the constitution and its amendments - however part of the peace deal would be an amendment to their constitution that they cannot change - and Israel would have to make this change to - permanently respecting each other's right to exist and pledging to engage in normal international relations with one another. This new PRP would *earn* the support of the Palestinian people very easily. People would have a state, they would have a vote. Terrorist groups like Hamas would rapidly lose support and likely ultimately disband because they would lose 90% of their purpose and 100% of their justification even among their own people. After 10 years the peacekeeping force would be eligible to be disbanded, if the situation is deemed stable enough, and if not would be subject to review every 3 years after that. Eventually the goal being to disband it and allow totally normal borders.
