Video of the former Canadian Northern Railway/CN-Kinghorn (Dorion) Subdivision (MP 75.4-79.3) south of Beardmore, ON. Features the grade as it parallels the Blackwater River with large embankments, cuttings, old spurs and flag stops plus the remnants of a massive 1999 forest fire.

The markers for the fibre, for all of the previous videos you would see the odd one. In this stretch they were much more frequent. Looked like there were some near brand new ties left. I would hazard in the winter this is a very popular sled route, there being very little junk on the RoW. It's way better when you speed things up, the BF's are much easier for viewers to deal with.

This is a more isolated area compared with others as there are limited access roads. I actually drove almost 4 miles of the grade to get to the starting point, which I did an exploration of last fall. That being said, it is well used as people will use the grade as a way to travel between Beardmore and the next community, Macdiarmid/BZA, without taking the highway. I try to speed up the videos when I can. Some areas there is a lot to talk about and it isn't so easy. Other than the pit and a few spurs/flag stops, this was fairly quiet with not many natural or railway features.
