David and Matty are dynamite together ,thanks guys for opening this world to me . I remember a time when this knowledge would have been inaccessible to the general public

Thanks for watching! And you are absolutely right - KZbin has opened up the world of yachting to everybody. When I first started this channel quite a few people in the industry objected to it, now EVERYBODY wants to do it!

I love this collaboration. The owner did a great job with the design of this yacht. It was interesting hearing Marty’s comment’s about the shower being on the outside. It’s the first time I’ve ever heard anyone mention that potential issue.

I'm not quite a third of the way through this video, and already I feel I've received the same amount of quality information some other big KZbin channels would now spend fifty minutes to impart. Mr. Zadnikar is once again a great partner in the walkthrough experience, and an excellent salesman. Cheers

Glad you enjoyed it. Walk Through videos with Matty always offer great value!

So nice to finally see the 'product' you have been talking about so much. It's great to see how 'neutral' the interior is, love the low key natural colours. Easy for the co-owners to personalise it with a touch of alternate colours (if they want). I remember Matty mentioning this in one of the previous publications. Love the table, what a superb solution. Rule of thumb for sqm to sqf is time 10 plus a little bit 🙂 I said it before, I love this concept. Let's face it, for those who have the funds, it is the cheapest option to be a (co)owner of a super yacht. For a one time 1.9M investment and an annual running cost of only (and I emphasise the word only) 140K you could not have a better solution in the Yachting world. All the fun, glamour and freedom for just over 10K a month (including taxes and management fees, crew, etc.)

What energy from Matty and David, so much detailed knowledge not normally seen on this type of video, you cannot believe Matty will fail even in this cost hungry business. pretty awesome.

Hi energy is one of the most notable things about him, it's infectious. And when you mix that kind of energy with business acumen...you have success!

The extension mechanism of the indoor dining table is very cool. Also, Mr. Zadnikar is the first I've heard to mention the yacht itself as a floating office. Not just a room on the yacht, but the yacht itself. Without a doubt, more business people will hold the same view, especially with Starlink connectivity. Great yacht, and thank you for sharing!

Thanks for watching - I'm glad you enjoyed the video.
@Bill_N_ATX9 ай бұрын
Indeed, Starlink, and eventually its competitors, are going to change how business is done. 20 years ago it cost a fortune to connect your office in NY with your office in Paris or Tel Aviv. Now it costs nothing but a high speed link to your boat or off grid home costs a fortune. In five years, it won’t matter where on Earth you are at. As the young Anna Paquin said in the infamous MCI commercial, “There is no more there.” We are almost there.

A really nice boat with some really good ideas, especially the 2 jetski idea instead of a rib but to have a chase boat. I would want something outright, I want to do a world tour.

Co-ownership always leads to problems. It is too much like having a timeshare, more trouble than it's worth. That being said, you will always find someone willing to put up with the headaches.
@Yachtsforsaleblog9 ай бұрын
Thanks for your comment. In some of the early SeaNet videos we discuss time share at length. Co-ownership is a totally different business model, but it does depend on an excellent management company taking the headaches away. I think that's why SeaNet have been so succesful.
@sorenlindberg88169 ай бұрын
legally it might be different, but practically it literally is "time shared (divided out between the owners) on the yacht" time share is shared use in allotments, how is this TOTALLY different?@@Yachtsforsaleblog
@Yachtsforsaleblog9 ай бұрын
@@sorenlindberg8816 I understand that it can seem similar. But time share allows you to share time in an apartment, but you do not OWN the apartment. Co-ownership gives you partial ownership, so when the asset is sold you receive a portion of the payment.

If you would have told me that this was a VanDerValk..I would have believed you. They have those little design features that make it seem like their build.
@clifbradley9 ай бұрын
I wonder if the owner was an experienced owner? Lol. Custom Line has been impresing me lately. Less so when I was on them as crew back in the 90's. They had some copying issues, but the copies weren't the greatest. Then they got serious I guess and really made it work. Now they look amazing, so I wonder though had the systems work amd fit and finish David?
@clifbradley9 ай бұрын
So who gets to name the yacht?

Hi Cliff, I'm pretty sure that the original buyer named the yacht.

Matty always sounds like he is yelling. When he corrects David, like with the fuel, he can't wait to correct David, even though David was going to say something, Matty jumps in. Like dude chill. He is getting there. I get the share issue and kudos to the guy or girl that retained 50% ownership, Smart thinking there.

Matty was terrific. The filming still needs work. Really do not like the camera 3' off the floor as this does not give any sense of height and depth. The cutting up of the rooms instead of a literal walk through is very difficult to follow.

10 days on the Summer, two weeks out of season for 140k year + 1.9M? Does the 140k cover anything besides operation/maintenance? Home berth? I presume one still need to pay the APA equivalent for those 25 days - food, fuel - does one tip the crew as a co-owner? Sticking to base fees, a week long charter on shoulder seasons on a comparable boat goes for ~€80,0000, €160,000/2 weeks. 10 days high season, about the same €170,000. So €330,000/year + VAT for EU charters + tips - but you can try more boats, more cruising grounds. OTOH, you don't get any residuals. But that €1.6M left after the first year will pay some decent interest rates - otoh, charterer will be more vulnerable to inflation - so how many years until this starts paying off, 5 or 6? By then, you'll have a 5yrs old boat while the charterer keeps sailing new ones. I'm going to assume they did the math and co-ownership makes sense for this level of usage even after 3 years or so due to share resale value, but I wonder how much "pride of ownership" factors in. Just thinking aloud, we don't charter enough, or boats as large, for this to make sense for us.

Not my style of video. Having been part of a timeshare before, I wouldn't be interested in co-owning, unless they would take me on my current salary, which might be able to afford a beach toy.
